Mirror

"Mom!" I screamed when my mother fainted. 

"Shit! Dad!" My father and my brother are doing nothing! They're just both looking shocked and cannot move! What the hell?! 

"Sky!" I was panicking already because my mother was in my arms, unconscious! 

Bella is looking at all of us, nakatitig sa kanya si daddy at si Sky. Hinila niya ang damit ni daddy at dun lang bumalik ang ulirat nila. 

Malakas siyang napamura nang makita kami sa sahig. Binuhat niya kaagad si mommy at inihiga sa couch, since iyon ang malapit.  Sky called our helper and told them to call a doctor. Hindi niya rin alam ang gagawin dahil sa sobrang gulo. 

My head is aching! Damn it! 

Dumating kaagad ang family doctor namin at inasikaso si mommy. Nagulat lang daw tapos ay wala pang tulog kagabi kaya nawalan ng malay. But all in all, maayos naman, walang complications kaya nakahinga na kami nang maluwag. I feel guilty! Hindi ko naman sinasadya na biglain sila! 

"Where's my phone?!" I heard Sky ask himself while looking around. 

"Tito-ninong! Is this your phone?" Right! Shit! Nakalimutan ko na nandito nga pala ang anak ko! 

I watch Sky's reaction. Nanigas siya at unti-unting umikot para tingnan si Bella na ngayon ay hawak na ang phone niya habang malawak ang ngiti sa labi. 

She's happy! Darn happy. 

I smiled while looking at my brother. He scratched his head and walked closer to his niece. Lumuhod siya sa harapan ni Bella at hinawakan ang kamay nito. 

"Bella, right?" He gently asked. My daughter happily nodded her head. 

"You're beautiful" He then hugged her. 

"Right?! I'm beautiful!" She giggled and hugged his Tito-ninong tight. 

Sky chuckled and carried her. 

Hindi na namin inilipat si mommy sa room niya kasi kailangan niya raw talagang makabawi sa tulog at baka magising siya kapag inilipat pa namin. The doctor left already. 

Daddy sat on the single couch and massaged his temple. I bet he forgot about us. He seems problematic about his wife's condition.

I was shocked when I saw Bella crawling into his grandfather's lap! Huh! Paano nangyari 'yun?! 

"Dami mong utang sa akin, ate." Tumabi sa akin si Sky. I leaned my head on his shoulder and chuckled. 

"Yes, I'm sorry, Sky." I murmured. 

"Are you fine?" He asked. 

I smiled remembering how he never forgot to ask me that question every time we talked. My little brother. 

"Of course, since Bella came into my life, I have become stronger." I answered and looked at my daughter. 

"Daddy lo, are you sad ba?" I heard Bella ask my lost father. 

"Dad is still loading" Sky chuckled while looking at our father who's just staring at his granddaughter on his lap.
