The Hyoid is the only unarticulated bone in the human body.  It is ensconced in the muscles of your throat.  It may be broken by manual stranglation or hanging where falling is used.

Key Vocabulary:
Cornu - this means "Horn."  In many textbooks the Greater and Lesser Horn may be called the Greater and Lesser Cornu.
Anterior - Front, usually paired with Posterior which means Back.  May also be referred to as Ventral; the opposite of Ventral is Dorsal

  May also be referred to as Ventral; the opposite of Ventral is Dorsal
