Venom (Part I)

"Rae- shit you scared me" Sae nervously chuckled, he looked shaken, lips trembling already even thought nothing had been said yet.

What do I even say? It's not like we're dating... right?

I sighed internally, knowing I can't get mad, and yet, I felt so hurt. Why? I couldn't help but feel pitiful for myself, standing here looking at his best effort to look as casual as possible.

"Mom just wanted to know if you're going to finish your breakfast.." I coughed out dryly, all the moisture in my mouth disappearing, putting on the fakest smile not even Colgate ads could beat. I noticed him physically shift in relief when I spoke, he probably thought I hadn't caught on, but damn are you wrong Itoshi Sae.

"O-oh.. um she can throw my food away if she wants, I just had to take a call really quick haha" he chuckled awkwardly, disgusting me with this tacky act he was putting on just to save his face.

"Okay, tell Rumi I said hi at least" I sneered, a slight cockiness in my voice, "She can keep you" I dismissively said, turning the other way to walk back, not before catching a glimpse of his shocked expression. Man. When have I ever felt this good before? Oh right—beneath Rin in the sheets.

"Rae please!—I can explain!" he yelled after me, but honestly? Why would I stop now? Just to hear his lame excuse?

I practically almost inside my house again before Sae had run up behind me and grabbed my arm, a rage spreading within my body at just his touch, so violent and venomous. "Rae, just let me explain... please" he begged, pleading almost, desperate to win me back. I turned to face him, with hatred and betrayal in my eyes, as if he had left me all over again those years back.

"You have 5 minutes, and i'm being generous" I spat out viciously.

OMG HEY GUYS LONG TIME NO SEE!! forgive me for the shortest chapter of my life but this was just a quick filler before writing Venom Part II, I just wanna thank those people who have rooted me on and have supported me since the beginning and also those who have begged me to continue this book! I promise some chapters will come out next week if not this one, and also a heads up i might rework this entire book i absolutely hate how i've limited my options for the storyline tbh, and im still storyboarding my other book !!

How should Valkarie move on from this? I'll see yall again in Venom Part II!!
