Chapter 15

3rd pov:

"On December 24th, the day of the terrorist attack. Suguru acknowledges his chances of winning are less than 20%. However, if he can kill Yuta and capture Rika, his chances go up to 99%. His true objectives was to isolate Yuta Okkotsu."

While Yuta was waiting alone in one of the classrooms, Maki made her entrance. It was apparent that all the other students had left to join the ongoing battle, leaving just the two of them behind. Yuta took this moment to ask Maki why Suguru referred to her as a "failure."

Maki sighed, then began to explain, "It's because I'm a member of the Zenin Family, but I can't see curses."

Understanding finally clicked for Yuta. He realized why Maki disliked being associated with the Zenin name, and why she couldn't assist him with cursed energy. He couldn't help but be impressed by Maki's resilience and determination.

In a moment of vulnerability, Yuta confessed, "I want to be like you, strong and resilient."

His suggestion to join forces in taking down the Zenin Family caught Maki off guard. She wanted to tackle this mission on her own. Blushing, she left the room, leaving Yuta behind. The interaction had left her flustered and filled with frustration over feeling accepted by someone for once.

As Maki and Yuta continued their conversation, they both suddenly noticed the school being engulfed by a mysterious curtain, a powerful curse technique cast by none other than Suguru Geto.

In Shinjuku Tokyo, as promised, a horde of demons emerged. Stuti was behind the wheel, driving Satoru to the chaotic scene. Looking down from a nearby building, Miguel, Geto's assistant, spotted his primary target - Satoru Gojo. Their mission was clear: buy time.

Back at the school, Maki was the first to confront Suguru when he arrived. However, her challenge didn't seem to impress him. At the same time, Satoru, who had been wondering about Suguru's whereabouts, was puzzled by his absence in both cities.

Stuti kept Satoru informed about what was happening. Upon learning that Yuta was in danger, Satoru swiftly utilized his powers to teleport Toge and Panda back to the school. Meanwhile, Miguel and his partner understood that Satoru had figured out Suguru's plan. Nevertheless, their orders were to follow through with the plan.

As Miguel gave the signal, their assault began. Miguel chose to challenge Satoru directly, but Satoru was in no mood for a face-off. He claimed he had more pressing matters to attend to in the midst of the chaos.

However, Panda surprised everyone by breaking through the wall behind Suguru. His strategy was unconventional - he had run through all the walls to take the shortest route to Suguru's position. The element of surprise was on their side.

Panda unleashed a rapid flurry of punches, but he suddenly noticed Maki's injured body, which distracted him. Suguru seized this opportunity and engaged in hand-to-hand combat with Panda. While the two battled it out, Panda called for Toge, who managed to arrive in the nick of time. Toge used his cursed speech, commanding Suguru to crumble away.
