Shades of Music
I've heard music before,
harmonious notes floating around me.
Rhythmic giggles came from your lips
as I called you my 'sweet pea'.
I've heard music before,
when you hurt your knee.
Horrible beats I shushed,
a broken melody I fixed for free.
I've heard music before,
calming breaths like waves of the sea,
crashing against my neck as we slept.
The waves I would love to sightsee.
I've heard music before,
when I spilled your coffee.
Your angry lyrics loud and long,
before I bought you iced tea.
I've heard music before,
lovely songs you'd sing with glee,
rhythms and beats thumping,
playing for my heart's plea.
Songs have beginnings and endings,
and in the middle we can be.
But when the music stops playing,
You'll find me buried under an olive tree.+++
كل عام وأنتم بخير ورمضان كريم ❤️
