Torn Apart

They are Beauty and the Beast,
Prince Charming and Snow White,
nothing can separated the two tonight.

A lovely evening it is,
trees dancing with the wind and dust,
their hearts soaring to the sky - they must.

Kisses and tears envelope the two,
midnight strikes and it's past curfew.
They have to leave - that's one thing they knew.

They couldn't be together,
the Kingdom will force them to surrender
and lock them in dreary dungeons forever.

Two mischievous Thieves,
nothing on their minds but love and ease,
not until the Royals made a decree.

Queen: "Bandits and Thieves,
Bandits and Thieves!"
King: "To the dungeons, I believe!"

Queen: "From this day on,
not a soul shall harm!"
King: "In our Kingdom,
Thieves cannot charm."

The consequences are unbearable,
however their love is unbreakable.
They scheme - for the night is beautiful.

The mad woman and man
with their belongings they ran.
Escape the Kingdom they can.

When so close to freedom,
the Royal Guards capture them,
leaving the two low-spirited and numb.

They were thrown in dungeons of despair,
separate floors to separate the pair,
but not their love, because that's something the Kingdom can never tear.
