Lovely Kingdoms

KING

I am hungry for a presence,
And I'm glad that it is you.
I've been patient all day,
And now it's past curfew.

I'll order the guards out of the room,
For our love is appreciated in secrecy.
I'll keep you all to myself,
In quite, warm privacy.

You take your golden hair out of its up-do,
And luscious locks fall past your shoulders.
You pull my crown off to toss it aside,
And push your master on his throne— a riptide.

Your heart is beating strong and fast,
No army can compare.
Lead me to your sweet-spot,
So that I discover what you cannot bear.

In a kingdom I call mine,
Lies a treasure I can find in you.
In a night we call ours,
Is forbidden love we can find for two.

QUEEN

I am hungry for a presence,
And I'm glad that it is you.
I've been patient all day,
And now it's past curfew.

I order you to approach my chambers,
And you listen to your beloved queen.
You close the door behind you,
And I behold beauty I've never seen.

You watch me as I take off my crown,
Stalking towards your royalty.
You free my caramel hair out of it's braids,
And you bask in my disheveled appearance.

I take your lovely hands,
Placing them on my cheeks.
Your eyes are cold blue,
and yet I feel warm with you.

In a kingdom I call mine,
Lies a treasure I can find in you.
In a night we call ours,
Is forbidden love we can find for two.
