When You Do
When you look at me
The way you do,
I realize what exactly
I'm supposed to do.
When you make me laugh
All day long,
I realize how empty
The night is when your gone.
When you smile at me,
I remember the times
We made history
Gold with our rhymes.
When you tear up
And start to cry,
know that I'll be here.
For you, I'll try.
This might be cliché
And I'm sorry in advance,
But nothing in this world
Can break me out of your trance.
The love I have for you
Can never fade away,
Because I realized all too late:
The day you left was the day I needed you to stay.
