They were at Tyler's house for a random party, and Evan was enjoying himself pretty decently. He loved getting with his friends, loved seeing them all in person, but fuck if his social meter was draining pretty fast.

On the plus side, he got to hang out with Jon in person. He rarely came around, his social anxiety a bit too much, but once a year he didn't mind coming to visit, as long as Evan and Luke were there.

First time Jon had admitted that, was when Evan had been on the porch by himself and he'd joined him a moment later. "I only came for you," Jon had whispered, a warmth touching Evan he hadn't felt before.

That was 3 years before, and Evan had made it his goal to make sure Jon was comfortable. In doing so though, he forgot about himself, and was often drained beyond belief by time the weekend was over.

"Hey Evan! We're playing hide and seek, we're bored as fuck, wanna join?" Tyler called and Evan set his soda down, nodding. Maybe he could hide someplace secluded and take a breather for 10 minutes, especially if Brian was searching. He didn't know Tyler's house as well.

"Alright, Brian and Brock first seekers, everyone else, fucking scatter!" Tyler called, the two named grinning at each other as they sat on the couch and hid their faces.

Evan rushed off, hearing his other friends run off too. Evan was one of the very few who knew how to get into Tyler's attic, and glancing around carefully, he quickly moved the board in the spare room closet and hoisted himself up.

He replaced the board and looked around curiously, moving to sit in the middle away from any wall or box. He did not like spiders, and who knew what was up here in the middle of August?

He'd been sitting there maybe 10 minutes when the board moved again, Evan freezing with his eyes on it. A familiar mop of black hair appeared, Evan breathing a sigh of relief as Jon clambered up into the attic.

"What are you doing here? This is my hiding spot?" Evan hissed and Jon grinned, replacing the board and carefully crawling to him. "Brock and Brian already found Marcel and Anthony, and got way too close to me, so I figured I'd try to find the attic," he said as he moved to sit next to him cross-legged.

They heard a noise and froze, Jon carefully scooting closer to Evan as they eyed the board. The noise vanished and they let out sighs of relief, Jon leaning against Evan's side.

Evan realised how close they were, a hint of discomfort coming at the fact that there was not a lot of room in the attic with all of Tyler's junk and Jon was easily 4 inches taller than him.

They heard Brian and Brock talking a moment later, both of them freezing as Jon moved closer to Evan, the Canadians shoulders tensing at the lack of space.

"This is probably not a good time to mention I'm claustrophobic," Evan whispered and Jon looked at him with wide eyes, an apology on his lips as he carefully scooted away from him.

"I'm so sorry," he whispered and Evan let the tension leak away, feeling a bit bad at technically pushing Jon away. He reached over and took his hand, squeezing it lightly.

"It's alright, not a lot of people know. But it's why I have such a wide range of space in my house, I don't like being in small spaces since I got caught in a snow drift once as a kid," he admitted and Jon's mouth made a "o" shape.

"Oh fuck, I'm still so sorry, I'll try not to crowd you," he whispered and then snapped his mouth shut as they heard Brock say, "Did you hear that? Someone's talking?"

Evan sat quietly, eyes on the board. He didn't think Jon was breathing, he was trying so hard to be quiet and he had to stifle a laugh. Jon gave him a look as Evan placed his free hand over his mouth, shoulders shaking from suppressed laughter.

"The fuck is that?" Brian asked confused and Jon lightly smacked Evan's shoulder, the Canadian curling into a ball to stop laughing. "Evan you're going to get us caught!" Jon hissed and Evan waved a hand at him, swallowing his laughs with extreme difficulty.

"Tyler, do you have an attic?" Brock called and Jon smacked Evan's shoulder. "Watch this," Evan whispered, knowing they were getting caught anyway.

Evan carefully crawled over to the board, silently pulling it back. "Yeah. It's in the guest closet, why?" Tyler called from somewhere in the house. "Does Evan know where it's at?" Brian asked, Evan seeing the door to the closet open.

"Fucking hell, of course he does," Tyler said with a sigh, Evan winking at Jon as Brian appeared. "Boo!" He yelled and Brian shrieked, Jon bursting out laughing.

"Gotcha bitch," Evan said with a grin, easily sliding down onto the floor. "You mother fucker, Jon's up there too ain't he?" Brian said with a sigh and Evan nodded.

"Of course he is, fucking assholes. We found Evan and Jon!" Brian called as Evan turned to help Jon climb down. Not that he needed it, he was almost all enough to just slide down and land with ease.

Brian left, leaving Evan and Jon alone in the closet. "Oh fuck, am I crowding you again?" Jon whispered, not wanting to speak too loud in case Brock or Brian overheard.

Evan shook his head, feeling completely at ease. "No, you're okay. Doors open, and I feel safe with you," he admitted and Jon flushed, smiling down at him.

Jon carefully slid past Evan, looking out the door. "They're gone, good, I can do this," he said quietly, confusing Evan. Jon leaned over and kissed Evan's cheek, lingering a moment before grinning and rushing off.

Evan stood there wide eyed, fingers moving to touch his cheek. If that's how being stuck was going to end, he didn't mind getting stuck with Jon again.

This was supposed to be written in 15 minutes. But I'm going to completely admit I added an extra minute cos I was only two paragraphs away from what I wanted to end it with lmao. So this was written in 16 minutes, but oh well. I hope yall enjoyed! Kisses!!
