I will allow them 2 or 3 more sweet chapters... don't blame me ;)

The car stopped in front of a luxury restaurant. A man opened Mitch's door, and Mitch got out, puzzled. The man went to Avi who had got out already, and took his keys. He got in the car and drove it to a parking.

Avi laid a hand on the small of Mitch's back and pusshed him gently to the entrance.

- Are you serious?

Avi smiled.

- Yes Mitch. I told you I was taking you on a date.

They were welcomed by a man in an elegant suit. Avi gave his name, and the man led them to a table in a quiet place of the restaurant. There were some little paravents here and there to provide some privacy between the customers. The waiter poured their glasses with champagne from a bottle he had taken on a little gueridon near their table, and left them.

- I've never been in a place like this!

- I'm happy then, it makes it even more special.

- What are we celebrating, Avi?

- Our freedom, my beloved angel. In a few days, we'll be officially boyfriends for everyone.

Some tears appeared in Mitch's eyes, and Avi grabbed his hand and squeezed it.

- Please don't cry Mitchie! Take your glass, let's drink. It's a French champagne, he added with a happy smile, a very good one!

Mitch smiled softly and took a sip of his glass at the same time as Avi. He glanced at their hands still intertwined, then back at Avi.

- I don't care anymore. It's a matter of days now. I love you.

- I love you too, blew Mitch.

- I guess I'll have to find a way to make you laugh soon, or you'll end this dinner on my lap! I'm not sure we're in the right place for this.

Mitch suppressed a burst of laughter, bringing his other hand to his mouth.

- Great! chuckled Avi. Let's choose something to eat, now. I. Am. Hungry!

- You always are!

They were back in the car, moving out of town. The weather was mild, the sky full of stars showing little by little while they were heading out of the city.

- We'll have about an hour's ride, get yourself comfortable, had said Avi when they left.

Mitch got himself comfortable. He shifted near Avi as far as possible, rested his head on his shoulder and his left hand on Avi's right one. Then he let escape a deep sigh and gazed at the stars through the windshield.

A smile tugged at Avis lips. Mitch's hand still on his, he turned on the radio and found a channel with soft music. Mitch eventually closed his eyes.

When the car stopped, Mitch was more or less asleep. Avi pushed him back slowly on his seat, got off the car and walked around to reach the passenger's door. He opened it and picked up the young man carefully. Mitch snuggled against him and wrapped his arms around his neck.

- Are you sure you're still asleep? chuckled Avi softly.

- Yes, mumbled Mitch.

- Okay, I wanted to make sure you weren't taking advantage of the situation.
