Its Naptime, sleep well little one [💤🌙post/passive!moondrop x child!reader💫☄️]

I got a random idea sooo, ✨✨✨comfort✨✨✨
Bc my day was full of anxiety and worry and shit like that, SO! im hoping of bringing comfort to others!^^🤍

You quickly found yourself sitting upright, tears slipping down your face as the dark area came into view and the terrifying nightmare slowly faded from your mind. You pulled your knees to your chest and burried your head into them. That was the fifth nightmare this week! Why can't you just sleep well- you just-

Your head only snapping up when a soft voice, matched by the soft jingling of bells rained down from above:
"Oh, no my little comet, why do you cry?"
The nighttime animatronic, moondrop, or better known as 'moon' asked. You only shook your head, laying one of your tear stained cheeks on your knees as he unhooked his rope and softly landed on the padded floor next to you. His yellow eyes casting a soft hue on the ground around you, and you yourself.

"B-bad dreams! Scary people- And m-monsters!" You whimpered. The animatronic only nodded, his eyes closing for a moment as he thought, then being open A moment later, with his index finger extended and a soft smile spreading across his face
"Ah I understand, little comet," he cooed as he extended a hand out to you, "why don't you grab your blanket and come with mr. Moon? I could protect you from all the scary dreams," the animatronic would offer.
You'd quickly grab for his hand, and your blanket dangling in the other as the animatronic led you somewhere...

You rubbed your eyes as moon brought you to a normally forgotten corner of the daycare...

"The quiet corner"

The large sign read in fancy blue letters, decorated with shiny gold stars.
Sunny called it that... it was for people who got easily overwhelmed, you spent a lot of your time there.

Moon softly sat down in the nest of blankets and pillows, before patting his soft pillow-like pants.
Your eyes lit up, being in nap time; moon seemed to be every kid's favorite place to sleep for some reason- (after the virus was taken out of him, all the kids adored him!)
You quickly crawled up into the animatronic's lap, and he pulled your soft, (f/c) blanket atop you.

"Sleep well, little comet"

The jester-themed bot softly whispered in a calming manner, before leaving you alone to drift off to the soft music box that played through the small speaker in his upper chest-plate.

That, was the the best sleep you'd even gotten. You aren't even going to lie.

Moon definitely did the best job of keeping the scary dreams away....💙

Todays been hectic, my mom came back from the hospital, and it's been an anxious day waiting (yesterday too) so I hope I could bring comfort to others through this story!
