Chapter 57: I Guess It's F**k Me

Kamaya was in their bedroom putting on her final touches for the date night she planned. She watched Kasey tie the strap around her ankle. "You like my heels" she asked. Kasey nodded "I fuck with them," he said. Kasey has had an attitude ever since the party. She talked to him earlier throughout the day and he seemed fine but now he barely has two sentences for her. She planned a show and dinner but wondered if she should just cancel it. "So are you even in a good mood for date night? She asked

"Yeah, we straight... come on," he said. She followed him to their garage door. He unlocked her Mercedes he decided to drive. She got inside closing her door. He started her car but it wouldn't start. Kasey sucked his teeth "You never took your car to the shop" he said in frustration

"I forgot...I got so wrapped up with work and everything else... let's just get in the lex" she said

"That's not the point," he said starting the car again. "...Babe well just take it in tomorrow.. can we go now? She asked. Kasey got out of the car shutting the door. Kamaya sat there for a second "This marriage shit is different" she said lowly. She sucked her teeth as she got out of the car there's no way he was this mad over her eating an edible. Kamaya closed her door "What is your problem? She asked. "I thought everything was fine," she said

"Why are you so hugged up on your friend? He asked

"Huh? What are you talking about? She asked. "Go look at Mia's story," he said. Maya grabbed her phone going to Mia's story. She was just coming down from her high so lord knows what she did in that video. She watched the almost expired video of her and Robin booed up at the section. Damnit Mia " she said to herself

"She was on me but I moved her hand," Maya said. Kasey nodded "Y'all have a history or something because she seems like she's madly in love with you," he said "And you never told me about her," he said

"Why didn't you tell me this earlier? She asked.

"It doesn't matter," he said

"....Robin and I have been friends for years, we just rekindled this year. She's always had a thing for me, on the other hand, I've never been attracted to her but I can confide in her" she explained. Kasey nodded "It seemed like ya'll were locked in..even you trying to spare her brother from me was kinda ehh... I didn't like that. I just chilled out cuz I didn't want to stress you out," he said. Kamaya understood where he was coming from but she did not want unnecessary drama to break out over an edible.

She sighed "But baby, you gotta pick your battles. It's one thing if a nigga is being disrespectful to me... you were going to beat her brother up over defending her? She questioned

"I just wanted you to let me handle that," he said

"So you could fight? Okay" she laughed

"Look just don't be doing all of that... cuz you were doing a lot last night.. and it could've been prevented," he said

"Because I was having fun? She questioned

"It's bigger than that you got too fucked up and I wasn't around.. and honestly she shouldn't be so comfortable all up in your space like that because if I had a best friend doing that to me, you would be ready to fight her" he explained

Kasey was right but she didn't take him as being insecure, especially over a woman.

"Okay yes she got too carried away and I'll let her know ... but as far as me having fun..... I didn't know I needed supervision" she scoffed.

"It's not about needing my supervision...' The fact that I have to say anything is crazy" he said.

"So you're still mad at me because I had a good time last night" she crossed her arms. "If that's what you heard then so be it," he said. "Okay I had a little too much to drink and I ate a brownie, you act like I popped some percs" she said
