Ricky

I woke up looking out at my view. It was a sunny day and I was looking forward to getting my day started. It felt good to be doing something I loved. I looked over at Shani sleeping peacefully. Shani and I were friends with benefits but I cared for her were good friends. She does a lot for me, I do a lot for her. Kyle adores her and she's cool to be around. I guess I had a thing for older women. I'm 35 now and she's 40, not a big age cap. She got out of a relationship two years ago and is living her life with no kids. I was still conflicted on what I really wanted. I don't even know if I'll ever get married again all I know I just want to kids. She didn't, so soon I needed to find the right one to mother my kids. I leaned over kissing her cheek. "Good morning," I said.

"Good morning Ricky" she smiled. I leaned up reaching over to grab my phone. "You know Kyle is going to zoom in here any minute" she chuckled. "I know, little nigga got energy like a battery" I yawned. She laughed "You got a lot of energy," she said. "You know how I do," I said. I scrolled down my TL to see flyers going around for Floyd May weather's Birthday Party. I was excited that Sky Loft was going to bring in so much revenue. I stumbled across Josie's page. I was impressed at how far she's come. I was really proud of her and I wanted to see what more she had in store. Intrigued was an understatement

@joselynamelofficial I had a great time speaking at Black dating panel. The fact that little ole me was asked to give some advice to all my little sisters out there. Always keep your crowns ON ladies.

I watched the video curiously.

"I was watching one of your interviews and you mentioned choosing the wrong men can you elaborate more on that," the interviewer asked

"Yeah, in the interview I just stated how I was searching for love and approval in men whether I wanted to admit or not and that because I didn't know my worth I encountered men that really didn't have my best interest" she explained. I slid to the next video

"I'm glad you were on this topic because I feel like as women we tend to settle just for the sake of not being lonely," the interviewer said

"Absolutely, it can get lonely being single sometimes you really just want a partner to love you and shower you in affection so you tend to deal with things you shouldn't be dealing with,"  Josie said.

"Absolutely I know the audience would like to ask a few questions," the interviewer said

"Hi Josie, my question to you is how do you know if you're wasting your time in a relationship. My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 years I had his kids been through hell and back with him but he seems like he doesn't want to get married he doesn't think its a big deal but to it is. What should I do?" She asked
