Next Weekend

Ricky

I was on my way to take Kyle to get a haircut for tonight it felt good to be back home. Until this day people ask me what happened to Lemonade nightclub and if I'm really this criminal? Well, that wasn't for them to know and I was keeping it that way. Life has been amazing since we put Grant in the slammer every once in a while I feel bad about it but then again he was too much of a burden on the family. We had to do what was best for all of us and Grant wasn't getting the picture. Apparently, he's trying to send people out to get us and he has his own alliance in the pin, of course, he needs one. I'm sure by now he runs the yard and that's good for him. The only thing I beat myself up a lot about is taking Kyle's dad from him. Kyle doesn't know his mother and he'll never know Grant. It's not like Grant would've given a damn anyways or maybe he would've he spent all his life letting it be known that he didn't favor me what worried me was when Kyle gets older he is going to be curious. He's going to want answers outside of us and he'll probably be confused and somehow I feel like its going to be all my fault. He nodded his head to some Jay-z

"This your song huh? I looked at the mirror to see him mumbling words. He ignored me feeling the music I pulled up to the barbershop preparing myself for his tantrum. He hated to get cuts and cried every time and it was annoying but he's a little boy. I just hope he gets over the fear soon. "Come on lil man," I said helping him out the car. I held his hand as we crossed the street. We walked inside and he instantly turned towards me. "Wassup Ricky," my barber Nate said

"Wassup boyy" I went over to dap him up. There was a huge line it was never this crowded in here before that means they were making business. "I got you next," he said

"Noo" Kyle whined.

"Look boy your head is jacked up, be cool" I shook his head "I don't want to" he frowned. "You gotta face it lil man, you're a big boy now right? I asked. He shook his head and I laughed. I watched his client get up paying him. My barber looked over at me and I got up with Kyle walking over there.

"Hold up Nate, I been waiting for 45 minutes I was here before this nigga" he complained. I looked over at the guy he was heavyset kind of on the tall side. I looked him up and down placing Kyle on the chair

"Relax Darren, you're up next," he told him. I understood I jumped everyone's spot but I can't help I'm liked but since big guy is bitching I'll help. "You know its no problem he can go first," I said

"Yeah its no problem nigga, I was here first little nigga" he looked me up and down. I laughed he really didn't know me and if I was the same nigga I would've punched him just for looking at me the wrong way. "I don't know you nigga so let's keep it that way, I ain't no little nigga either" I looked him in his eyes

"Darren chill the fuck out"

"Do something then nigga" he yelled. I laughed ignoring him "Go ahead Nate," I told him. Darren turned around "That's what I thought pussy boy," he said

"These hands don't discriminate my nigga you better chill out before this be your last haircut pooh bear," I said sitting on the other side. "Or yours? He lifted up his shirt exposing a gun. Everyone started panicking I just sat back "Congratulations," I said. Deep down I was furious, I got a gun pulled out on me my whole life that didn't bother me but I wasn't trying to expose Kyle to any of that.

"Keep taking little nigga, hit the fucking gym," I said.

"Yo, Nate who your clients this shit is hilarious My G" I said. "I'm bout it' he said walking to the door. "Imma hold you to it baby boy" I said watching him leave. I couldn't be reckless how I used to be I had my little bro that looked up to me I had my own business that was doing numbers and I was finally happy I wasn't going to lose all of that over 5 seconds
