(At her side, her mother invited to all relatives in engagement as well as his side also. As engagement date was coming near they started to arrange things for engagement. And here, paras nd shrisha were started to liking each other companies. Now is the day before engagement..)
(A/n :- Seriously, I don't like this character in my story "Paras" but this character added by my friend. If you guys have doubt "ki paras aur shrisha ek dusre ko like karne kaise lag gaye..??" So, let me tell you, they both talk everyday on chat as well as call. And shrisha's exam had done..)
At sumedh's side,
Sumedh - Maa, I wanna talk to you.. Vasanti - Not now dear, I am busy...(while arranging plates) Sumedh - It's important maa.. Vasanti - Okay..!! Sit here..(while patting a place beside her) (He sat nd hold her hands, nd looked at her, she also looked at him confusingly) Vasanti - What happened dear..?? Are you all okay..?? (said worriedly) Sumedh - I am all okay. I want to tell you something nd you have to promise me that you won't say "no" to me.. Vasanti - But..(cut by sumedh) Sumedh - Promise me.. Vasanti - I promise you I won't say "no", Now, tell me.. Sumedh - Maa, I know that we are "Brahmin" and I have been following all the traditions related to my religion. But, I can't do it now because my profession is so big than this and I don't want to be disgraced because of all this traditions. Directly coming on main point, I wanna say this that there will be no any rituals being follow in this engagement, and if there is then "I DON'T WANT TO DO THIS ENGAGEMENT.." (He said last sentence in louder voice while getting up from position) Vasanti - How could it be..?? And without rituals..it's bad omen Sumedh - Apshakun ka jamana gaya, maa. Aur aaj ka jamana, pehele ke jamane se aage badd chuka hai ki. So, live in present not past (The times of bad omen are gone, maa. And today's times have progressed further than the earlier times.) Vasanti - Ho..(cut by sumedh) Sumedh - Let me tell you, you promised me that you won't say "no" to me nd of you will then you know.. (She thought for somewhile then agreed) Vasanti - Okay..!! Sumedh - Good..! Please tell Mallika also, because she is very fond in following rituals. Vasanti - I will.. Sumedh - Hmm..!! (left) Vasanti - (to herself) Without rituals, how could it be..?? I didn't say "no" to him because I promised him but I didn't know that he thought this. Now, I have to tell mallika's mom also and I have to buy a new dress for mallika..

(She called mallika's mother nd told her about it. She agreed because mallika's mother also doesn't follow rituals nor believe. M/m told this to mallika. First, mallika said "no" but she convinced her)
At mallika's side,
Mallika - (to herself)..So stupid kind of guy, who didn't follow any rituals. Literally, now I am saying this. When he became IAS officer, from that time he changed in all things..Urghh..!! I have to sleep now..but I dreamed that I will wear saree in my engagement. But my dream doesn't fulfilled.. (She layed on bed while thinking about "her khadoos" nd slept)
