Brave face

"I should probably go now, but I will video call you tomorrow if that's okay? I can let you know how it went." I try to give off extra confidence in my words, knowing Chan might still worry about me going tomorrow.

He furrowed his brows at me.

"Why not.. Um.. 

Let me drop you off tomorrow?

I can hang about for a bit.. And if you say it's all fine, I can go. If it's not, then I am already there to take you home.." Chan offers hesitantly.

"Chan, if your manager knew you were driving me to school, I'm fairly certain he would kill you." I deadpan. He can't actually be serious?

"I'll wear a disguise.. It's fine. Please let me." He urges, taking my hands as if to beg.

"You better be dressed like a woman then." I break from a serious tone into a chuckle. "It's the only way!" I sing.

"If that's what it takes.." Chan dramatically bows into my hands.

"You're an idiot. But okay. 

I'll text you when I get home." I giggle at him as I get up from the sofa.

"Okay baby." He beams at me from his seat, reaching for his laptop to work on some music.

Everyone else was out doing their own thing, so made my way to the front door, unlatching it and exiting the dorms.

I had a heavy feeling in my chest, but I brushed it off as being exhausted after a crazy morning.

After boarding the bus, and taking my seat, I noticed a message from Brendan.

Brendan: Hi Y/N. I can pick you up tomorrow if you want?

Uh..

What?

Me: Thanks Brendan, but I already have a lift for tomorrow :)

Brendan: Oh, no problem :)

That's strange.. He knows I'm seeing Chan.. Well, other than that it is Chan, but he knows I'm seeing someone..

I hope Chans wrong about him.. That's the last thing I need.

The next Morning.

Me: Coming!!

Chan: I'm coming inside then 😉😂

Me: 💀

I run outside and make my way towards his car.
