I woke up naturally, and I was alone.
I stretched my legs and arms out and pulled myself up.
I must have been knackered, as the light was leaking through the curtains into the room, hinting at a pretty decent lay in.
I got out of bed and pulled the curtains back. As my eyes adjusted to the blinding winter sun that shone through into my room, I then glanced over to the clock.
10:25
Shit.
I must have needed that.
I put on my slippers and walked out of the room, listening out for any noise to hint where Chan was.
I heard a clink of crockery coming from the kitchen, so I made my way there.
He didn't notice me standing in the doorway initially, and it gave me a moment to watch him.
He was making a latte, then pouring the frothed milk into a mug.
I knew it was for me, as Chan doesn't drink coffee, and it made me smile, knowing he was taking his time to make me one.
"Oh, hi Princess."
"Hi baby." I smiled at him, leaning against the door frame."Come here.." He holds an arm out and I walk up to him, accepting his embrace.
