"CHANNIE HYUNG!" Han hollered, hoping Chan could hear him.

"YEAH?" He shouted back.

"FOOD.. IS.. REA..DY!" He screamed at the top of his lungs.

I had my fingers in my ears to save me from rupturing my eardrums, and Changbin was just sat laughing at Han.

We could hear Chan open his door and run into the kitchen.

"Did you have to shout so loud?" He smirked at Han.

I sat there giggling, and Chan looked over to me, giving me a sneaky wink

I sat there giggling, and Chan looked over to me, giving me a sneaky wink.

He looked.. different. More.. Relaxed?

Like a weight had been lifted.

Maybe he feels better knowing Changbin will be giving me attention.. So there's maybe less pressure on him? Clearly he has commitment issues, but I get it. His whole life has been his career, he will find it hard to distribute emotions and feelings while it's the dominating factor. I can't hate him for that.

We all sit down together and eagerly wait for Han to pass us the ramen.

"Enjoy! It's probably the only thing I can cook!"

"Putting noodles in a pot of boiling water is not really cooking.." Chan teases, flashing his dimple grin.

"Hey! There is an art to making ramen!" Han defends, making Changbin choke on the broth.

"Thank you Hannie. I appreciate you." I suck up to him and he sits there with a smug face on.

"Are you excited to see Jeju for the first time?" Han then asks with a mouthful of food.

Changbin and Chan both look surprised at his question. Almost like they felt hard done by for being left out.

"Yes I am. I got some snacks for the journey already as well, and cleared some space on my phone for photos.." I excitedly wiggled in my seat.

"You've never been?" Chan questions, almost gutted that he didn't know.

I shook my head, but maintained a small smile.

"I wish I'd have known.." He quietly whines, looking down at his food.

"That's the sort of thing you find out by talking to someone, Hyung. Not ignoring them.." Han jumped in with the sass.

Fuck, I didn't expect that dig.

"Well, I hope you have fun. You deserve it." Chan smiles.

I smile back at him, then eating another mouthful of noodles.

We sat in silence for a little while, just enjoying our food, but I was finding it hard to eat. I lost my appetite after what had been going on today.

"Do you mind if I go to bed?" I ask out loud. Today really had exhausted me, I just need a moment with my own thoughts.
