"Okay Momo and Yn* are acting weird." Irene whispers behind Yoongi's shoulder in the library.

The walls are splashed in a mahogany brown with strips of royal blue at any itersections and the shelves. The floor is wood, gifting the library with hospitable warmth and complimenting the wafting essence of ink, paper and coffee.

"Not now." Yoongi groans flipping through a chemistry encyclopaedia. He had his studies to catch up on. His grades weren't perfect but he fell on the above average performing students category and he needed to maintain that position or perform better. Also, he needed to complete his assignments that he had forgotten about and was due the following morning.

"I feel like they are avoiding me." She holds her breath. "Ok maybe I can excuse Momo because she is sick but what about yn*?"

"Later Irene, Later." He slips a book back in it's rack.

"Oh please! I will only take like five minutes of your time."

"Which is too much to spare."

"Do you think they are avoiding me?"

"No."

"You're just saying that."

"I honestly don't care." He flips through another book. "Just talk to them."

"I would if they weren't disappearing all the time. I haven't seen them this entire morning."

After pushing a book in its rack, he turns to her with a sigh. "What is the point of this?"

"Are they avoiding me or not? And why?"

"Look at my face. Do i look like i have the answer?"

"I'll tell mom you have been mean to me."

He groans while running a hand down his face.

Irene pushes him aside, plucks out a thinner chemistry book. "This is easy to understand. Now you have to help me."

"I'm listening."

Her eyes sparkle as she smiles. As harsh as he can be with his advices, they were just as good. She hated herself for always coming back with issues that were rooted to the same thing-her self-esteem.

She told him of her lonely moments the past couple of days. Even if she spoke to her friends, she still felt lonely, like she was trying so hard to fit in. And suddenly, might be too early to judge, Sora's presence was seeping in.

She ignored the tiny puddle of jealousy.

It probably was just her over-thinking, blowing things out of proportion but, she did believe in her skills in foresight.

When she realised that Jimin had been sneaking glances at the back of the class, she quickly convinced herself she harboured no feeling for him. Taehyung was a big help. She doesn't tell Yoongi about this.

His advice is the same as his previous, a mantra at this point.

"Self confidence, Irene. How many times do I have to tell you to stop caring about what other people think? You're enough and all that matters is what you think."

And every time, she would say; "It's not that easy you know?" She huffs, hands against her chest.

"Make it easy. Instead of asking,'Do they like me?' Ask, 'Do I like them?' Simple."

She does. She does like them, love them. That's why she is trying so hard to be in their lives because..."I love them Yoongi. They are my friends."

"Friends shouldn't make you feel like this."
