"I wish they would just leave us alone for even just a day!" I mutter as i lock my phone after reading yet another article speculating about me and Lando getting back together.
Certainly, I was conscious of the fact that I appeared to have forgiven him excessively hastily, and I was also aware that many of my friends disagreed with my hasty reconciliation.
But I had been in such a pit of despair for the last month that I was unable to function—and refused to—without him. Getting back to where we were wouldn't be easy, and I knew we had a long road ahead of us, but he was the one.
I felt a twinge of sorrow for leading Niall on. Having to gently turn him down on multiple occasions made me feel terrible. For our relationship to recover to its former glory, we needed to be open and honest, so I had been forthright with Lando about spending the night with Niall. Though it was painful, he also told me that he had planned to meet up with Luisa when he saw me leave with Niall, but that he had changed his mind and cancelled on her abruptly.

Lando was in Hungary over the weekend, and I stayed in Los Angeles since I couldn't back out of some prearranged engagements. I had planned to have lunch with Taylor, but I had a hidden agenda for setting up the lunch meeting with my best friend.
