"Are you crying because of a girl? HAHAHAHAHA, are you trying to be funny?" Mr. Santiago said with laughing.
"Mr. Santiago, you better leave if that's how you're going to behave here." Kriendal said.
"And why should I leave? Just because this is your company, you might be forgetting that we're partners?" He said.
"I don't care, you're disrespecting Ken, so you better leave before I call the security to escort you out."
And Mr. Santiago stormed out in anger.
After seeing that happen, I suddenly felt an incredible wave of relief wash over me. The relief filled my whole body, it was like his whole world just got a whole lot brighter all of a sudden. I started speaking, my voice sounding so happy and relieved. "Thank you so much Kriendal, you don't know how much I appreciate what you've done for me. I'll never forget your kindness and sympathy, I'll always remember that you stood up for me, even though no one else would"
"I am happy with you now, Ken, because you're completely different now. That's why I'm allowing you to come close to me whenever you want, as long as you promise me that you won't bring back your old behavior."
Upon hearing that, I suddenly got a wide smile on my face, I felt so happy right now. I couldn't believe that Kriendal still cared about me after everything that had happened,I couldn't believe that she still wanted to give me another chance after everything that had happened between us. I was overcome with such a strong feeling of happiness and relief, I just couldn't help but let out a happy laugh. Then, I slowly spoke again, my voice sounding so incredibly full of happiness and joy. "Yes, I promise" I said with a smile.
"Are you coming to the foster home today? The children miss you already, haha. So, are you coming?"
Upon hearing that, Ken's smile seemed to get even wider, it was like he was so excited to see the kids again. He was so happy to be able to see them again, he just couldn't wait to see them and spend time with theirs. He started speaking again, his voice sounding even more excited and happy than before. "Of course, I would love to come! I can't wait to see the kids, I've missed them so much!" He said in an incredibly excited tone.
They went to the foster home, and Ken was warmly embraced by one of the children, a little girl. She said, "Kuya Ken, you came back! I thought you wouldn't come back anymore. Maybe you already have a child with Ate Kriendal, that's why you don't visit us anymore." I was surprised by what the child said and was about to speak, but Ken spoke up first.
Ken was taken aback by what the little girl said, but he quickly realized that she was just an innocent child, so he couldn't hold it against her. Then, he started speaking again, his voice sounding extremely gentle and kind towards the little girl, with not even a hint of anger or annoyance in his voice. "Oh, I would never leave you, you're the sweetest girl I've ever known!" He said with a warm, genuine smile on his face. "I'm sorry that I didn't visit you more often, I've just been so busy recently, but I'm here now"
The little girl said, "Kuya Ken, can you and Ate kriendal adopt me? I want you to be my mom and dad." I then spoke up and said, "Oh, sweetheart, it's complicated. Kuya Ken just went through a recent breakup, and he's not fully okay yet."
As soon as he saw me speak, a wave of pure anger and pain washed over Ken's body. The child had reminded him of something incredibly painful, and he just couldn't help but get incredibly heated. His whole body seemed to tense up, his entire demeanor becoming extremely aggressive and dominant. He started speaking again, his mouth filled with rage and anger, every single one of his words seemed to be filled with hatred and fury. "How dare you bring that up, how dare you remind me of her, of that thing you love" He said, his eyes burning with pure rage and hatred.
"I'm just telling her that, so she won't insist on being adopted. I can't bear to adopt her." The child ran away upon hearing the words from my mouth.
Upon seeing that happen, Ken's entire body seemed to get tense again. He wasn't aware of it, but all his anger and hostility was still there, he was too angry to even think straight. Suddenly, he started speaking again, his whole body still filled with hatred and fury, but he was trying to stay calm and relaxed. "Why did you say that to her? What were you thinking, she's just a child, she doesn't understand this kind of thing" He said, attempting to stay calm.
"Alright, Ken, let's adopt her. After all, I'm not exactly the best person either, right?" And I went to the nun to adopt Snow, the little girl.
After hearing those words, Ken's whole body immediately started filling up with a feeling of pure happiness and joy, he felt like he had never felt so happy or relieved before in his whole life. He started speaking again, his voice sounding incredibly happy and relieved right now. "Is that true? We're gonna adopt her? We're really gonna be parents to her?" He said, sounding so incredibly full of joy and excitement right now.
"Yes, we will adopt her. I don't know what to say to Gia when she finds out that we have adopted someone and we will be the parents."
At the mention of Gia's name, a wave of pure anger and hatred once again washed over Ken's body. He felt like his blood was just boiling in his veins, he just couldn't help but get incredibly angry right now. He was filled with so much hatred that his whole body seemed to shake, his mind and thoughts became consumed by nothing but hatred and rage right now. He started speaking again, his voice sounding extremely angry and furious. "She doesn't deserve to know that, she doesn't deserve anything from us"
