Alastor stood in front of the bathroom mirror, once again. Lost in thought...it was around 2:30am, and he hadn't fallen asleep yet, while having so much on his mind. Just a few hours ago, Lucifer and him had finished off eating, with Lucifer introducing Alastor to caviar. It was actually quite delightful, even though he had been quite sceptical of it at first.

He ran his ungloved hands through his red hair, and rested his elbows on the countertop. Taking in a long breath, he looked up at the mirror, to see his shadow looking at him with a concerned look on its face.

"Don't..say..anything." he groaned, heading towards the door, he closed it behind him as he left the bathroom. And headed towards his bed. Alastor's head throbbed in pain, as he reached to adjust the three pillows that were leaning against the backboard. He turned on the radio, and turn the dial to the music station, with was currently playing jazz. "I missed my broadcast..." He sighed, feeling as if he was losing himself. "This is not who I am." He growled, sitting on the edge of his bed. "Why? Why the hell am I playing as the good guy? That's not what I am." He fell backwards on his bed, and put his arms over his face. "What in hells name am I doing?" He sat up, and tucked his legs against his chest. Vaggie and Charlie seem to enjoy the way I'm acting now, then I used to. But it just doesn't feel like I'm doing what I should be... He turned his gaze towards the stairway, and sighed. One day of no broadcast is fine...it, actually felt nice to relax for once... Once again, Alastor layed back down, and rested his head on the propped up pillow. He reached for the newspaper, and started reading where he had left off.

In the morning...

Alastor woke to a loud banging noise just down the hallway. He growled, turning over and setting a pillow tight against his head. The banging continued as he tried to ignore it. What the hell is going on!? Alastor hopped out of bet, and grabbed his staff. Quickly making his way towards the door, flinging it open. The banging noise sounded more like a clattering at this point, but it was getting annoying.

"Al!" Lucifer made his way down the hallway towards him, spinning his apple staff in circles. "Do you know what that sound is?" He halted a few feet away from Alastor.

Alastor shook his head. "Yet to figure that out, my dear fellow." He smiled, "In fact, I was just on my way to find out!" He radio voiced cracked at the last part, but he shook it off, and glanced back at Lucifer.

"Well then, let's go find out." Lucifer implied, making his way back down the hallway, with Alastor just at his side.

Alastor walked in silence, trying his best not to say anything..well..weird. He had a slight hint about what the sound might be. But he wasn't willing to mention it to Lucifer, just yet. Him and Charlie had planned to have a party for Lucifer, to celebrate him staying at the hotel with everyone. They hadn't exactly decided what the exact date was, but they could still, possibly be setting it up now. Alastor merged in front of Lucifer, "Wait." He stood face to face with him, staring into his golden eyes. "You stay here, I'll go check what the noise is."

Lucifer shrugged, then smiled back at Alastor. "If that's what you want." As he watched Alastor walk towards the elevator. "Thanks, Al, dear."

At Lucifers words, Alastor's sped up his pace. And pressed the down button on the elevator. He waited patiently as the elevator reached level 12, the current level he was on. He entered it, and pressed the main lobby button. Alastor hummed to the elevators calm music, as he waited upon his arrival to the main level. He adjusted his gloves, as the doors opened, he stepped out.

Alastor was greeted with the delightful surprise of streamers, a large banner, balloons, and plenty of other party decorations. "Why this looks just splendid!" Alastor cheered, heading towards Charlie whom was hammering the nails into the wall. "Ahah!" He laughed, "I have found the culprit of the banging sound!"

Charlie gasped with surprise of Alastor's presence, and stumbled off the ladder.

Alastor sprang forward, and caught the princess in his arms. "Now we can't have that, can we?" He chuckled.

"Oh Al!" She spoke, sounding surprised. "I didn't think you would be up so early!" She admitted.

"Well, one does find it difficult to sleep, with such a noise." Alastor set Charlie down, and adjusted his suit.

"Ya, sorry about that." She apologized, pushing her blonde hair out of her eyes.

"This room looks quite splendid my dear." He observed, watching Nifty hastily dust up every last speck of dirt, off of the countertops.

"Angel and Vaggie woke up early as well, to help me set up the decorations."

Alastor looked around at the progress made. "Well it seems to me, that you have chosen when the party will be. Why, the guests will have such an adrenaline rush with there being two parties back to back! I'm sure we don't have to invite Angels friend again, why...what was her name? Ahh, yes, Cherri Bomb. Honestly, quite a nuisance to be really honest in all."

"Oh Al, you don't mean that." Charlie shood him away, so she could finish with the banner.

As Alastor walked away, he turned his head to notice Vaggie pointing her spear at him. "Why hello dear!"

Vaggie scowled. "What's your deal, radio demon. You've never cared about Lucifer, even since the day you met him. It was obvious that the two of you hated each other, since you were having a stupid argument over who was the better dad, JUST SEVEN MONTHS AGO!!"

Alastor revealed a toothy grin on his face. "Why Vagatha, just because I am helping Charlie plan the party, doesn't mean I want to."

"Big talk." Vaggie growled, "Charlie told me, that you where the one with the idea to have this party in the first place, and that she agreed to it!"

Alastor tried his best to keep his cool, over preposterous complaints. "It doesn't matter, Vagatha." He pushed the spear away from his face.

"Call me Vagatha one, last, time, RADIO DEMON!" She snarled, jabbing Alastor into the arm.

"Vagatha." His eyes turned to radio dials, and his antlers began to grow, as he yanked the spear from Vaggie's hands, and threw it across the room. "Watch it, Vagatha." He turned, and walked away back towards the elevator.

Vaggie grumbled, picking up her spear. "Asshole!"
