As the train rattled along the tracks, Jungkook's heart felt heavier with each passing mile.

He couldn't shake the image of Taehyung's devastated face as he left him behind, torn apart by the cruel ultimatum his mother had imposed.

But amidst the turmoil, Jungkook knew he couldn't abandon Taehyung completely. He needed to ensure his safety, even if it meant breaking his own heart in the process.

With a heavy sigh, Jungkook pulled out his phone and dialed Namjoon's number.

The familiar voice of Taehyung's older brother greeted him on the other end, tinged with concern as he sensed the distress in Jungkook's voice.

"Namjoon hyung," Jungkook began, his voice wavering slightly with emotion, "I need to talk to you... it's about Taehyung."

There was a brief pause on the line before Namjoon spoke again, his tone gentle yet probing. "What happened, Jungkook? Is Taehyung alright?"

As Jungkook recounted the painful events that had transpired, he could feel the weight of his words bearing down on him like a leaden burden.

Namjoon listened in stunned silence, his mind reeling at the betrayal and cruelty that had befallen his brother.

"I had no idea..." Namjoon murmured, his voice filled with anguish. "I'll make sure Taehyung is safe, Jungkook. Thank you for telling me."

"Hyung! Please don't tell this to him..." Jungkook said and cut the call

Relief washed over Jungkook as he heard Namjoon's assurance, grateful for the support he had found in Taehyung's brother.

Despite the pain of their separation, Jungkook knew that Namjoon would be there to watch over Taehyung in his absence, providing the love and care that he so desperately needed.

As the train pulled into Seoul station, Jungkook braced himself for the difficult journey ahead.

But with Namjoon by Taehyung's side, he knew that his beloved would never be alone, even in the darkest of times.

And as he stepped off the train and into the bustling city streets, Jungkook carried with him a glimmer of hope, knowing that love would always find a way to endure.
