Aiden wasn't a normal Acharya king. The Kings of the Acharya line would have a queen and at least one mistress. Some even had 5. Yes, it was very messed up, but finally, Aiden broke that tradition.
He had one queen, Arundhati Shah, who was beloved by the entire Kingdom. He also chose some of the castle staff himself. His best friend, Brynne, was the chef. Prince Rudra lived in the castle, since he was abandoned by his family once they found he was color blind, but he soon learned he had a thing for music. Mini, the queen's best friend, was the castle doctor. She would travel across the kingdom, curing those in need. Kara, the queen's sister, ruled a neighboring kingdom until it fell, and when it did, she turned to a modest life as the castle librarian. They were happy.
