Would you like to hear a story?
It's about two lovers whose destinies were intwined by their music.
One sung, the other would too.
Both played instruments and now dance along the heavens, watching over you and me.
They started off as enemies, rivals in music.
But soon learned about each other's pasts and learned that they could help each other.
Their friendship soon led to something more but then tragedy struck.
She had died.
It caused him to quit his musical career until one fateful day.
There was a full moon, which allowed spirits from another world to come to our realm.
Along with those spirits came, her.
In the other realm, you could hear the music from our realm, because that is what keeps our worlds connected.
Once she got to the spirit world, she would hear him playing and singing.
But one day the singing stopped. And it never came back.
When she saw him, she was so happy.
But he didn't notice her.
But once he did, he was happy too.
His other half had returned.
But she couldn't stay.
Then he proposed an idea.
When the Blue moon arrives, he would go with her.
It was only a month away, but to the two lovers, it felt like an eternity.
The day of the Blue Moon had arrived.
There was a festival in honor of it too.
Every full moon festival had him playing music for the crowd but since her death, the festival remained silent.
He was glad he could be with his love.
Once the spirits started arriving, everyone could see them.
It was a parade of loved ones, pets, and entities wanting to experience mortality for one night.
Then there she was, as beautiful as ever.
The two lovers spent the entire evening together.
But soon, it was time for the spirits to live.
He grabbed onto her hand as she rose up to the moon.
The two lovers floated up higher and higher and were glowing bright.
They now live there, happily.
Sometimes, they come back to our realm, to watch us.
Someone had witnessed this, a hundred years ago.
The spirit of the stars.
And that was me.
