A/N:

In celebration of I thought I would write a song preference of my favourite song from the album. It was also requested a lot so that was a plus. Remember to check out my new fanfiction called Wicked Games!

Luke:

I need your love to guide me back home

When I'm with you, I'm never alone

I need to feel you, feel you tonight

I need to tell you that it's alright

"Is this where you hide when you don't know how to deal with your problems?" Luke's eyes went wide by the sudden voice behind him, his reddish eyes looking out in the horizon of the ocean in front of him, a shaky sigh coming from him before he turned his head around to look at you. "Luke.." You said in a soft tone as you noticed his broken state, moving forward so you could take a seat next to him on the soft cold sand. "How did you know I was here?" His voice was shaky as he spoke, and he looked up at you with furrowed eyebrows before resting his head against your shoulder. "I know you. Every time you get sad or angry you go out here and listen to the waves. I guess it calms you down. I've never wanted to go after you because I always respected that you needed your space. But today, I thought it was way different. That's why I'm here." Luke nodded his head along to your words, a giggle of sarcasm, "It's way different from today!" "But why are you reacting like this now? You've been on tour so many times without me and you survived." Luke let out another sigh and started to dig his finder into the sand under him and looking out at the beach. "Our relationship has come to the point where just leaving you to go to the studio makes me miss you more than ever. It's only because I love you more for every single day that goes Y/N. I didn't know when we started dating how much you would mean to me. That's why I didn't react like I do now at that time. I've realized just know how much I need you in my life to make myself happy." Your cheeks rose up by Luke's words and the same affect had seemed to hit his cheeks as well. "I just think 6 months is too much for me.." He said in a small mumble, avoiding your eyes and looking down at his digging fingers. You looked at him digging into the sand for a minute before you placed a soft kiss to his cheek and leaned your head on his shoulder. "I know it's tough to think about but Luke you know it's one of a life time. I don't wanna be the one here to prevent you from doing what you love. We'll never be as young as we are now and I want you to enjoy that in freedom of not thinking about me all the time even though you clearly want to. I'll visit you as much as I can. And when you come home we can stay inside our apartment and order takeout for a month, share toilets and such you name it so we won't be apart from each other. I know it's tough and I think it is too, but we have to." Luke started to smile by your words and looked up at you with gazing eyes, the smile on his lips affecting you and you started to smile as well. "You always know what to say Y/N. I'm gonna miss that." He said, wrapping his arms around your body and pulling you into his side, the two of you staring out at the darkness of the ocean, the moon shining down and reflecting in the dark water.

Calum:

We'll never be as young as we are now

It's time to leave this old black and white town

Let's seize the day

Let's run away

Don't let the colors fade to grey

"Where are we heading?" Calum shrugged his shoulders with a smirk as he leaned his head against the soft material of his seat, the lights from the traffic light in front of you shining and reflecting into his eyes as he was staring at you. "I don't know. Where do you wanna go?" He asked, wrapping his hand around the gear to change the number, pressing his foot against the pedals and driving forward, turning to the left. "Let it be a surprise." Calum nodded his head by your request, his head keeping on bobbing up and down to the music faint playing from the radio. Your car was packed to the fullest, the whole backseat covered with blankets, clothes and food for survival. There was no exact road to follow just like your relationship. One statement from Calum had made the two of you change complete direction of your lives. Forget about school, forget about work and forget about the people to leave behind. Just be in the present of yourself and enjoy life as it is, because sooner than later it's gone right in front of your nose. Calum needed to get away from everything and so did you. Together you guys were ready to experience the world from travelers' eyes. Not having to worry about money and food. Just enjoying each other to the fullest. "How are we gonna sleep?" You asked with a chuckle afterwards, looking behind you and observing the stuff that filled most of the space, you even had a few bags in front of your seat that meant you would have to rest your legs against the glove compartment of the car. "I'm thinking we'll drive towards north near the mountains. Rest on top of one of the hills and park the car with the view of the oceans, stars and the headlights from the city. We'll move some of the bags up here where we're sitting and remove the roof of the car. When everything is removed and the night sky is on top of us we can move the backseat down and place blankets everywhere. And if it gets too cold, you know who you're just gonna cuddle closer to." You started to blush a deep shade of red by Calum's suggestion, his eyebrows wiggling followed by a cute giggle from him, his hand moving forward to place it on his thigh and opening the fist so you could place your hand in his. "Remember. No one's here to tell us what to do anymore. It's just you and me against the world." Calum his hand stayed on your thigh as he eyes glanced back towards the road in front of him, his finger drawing patterns along your hand. "How do you think people will react when they find out we're gone? How will they react when we come back again?" Calum started to shush on you by your questions, the smile on his lips never leaving. For the first time in months he actually felt more relaxed than ever. "Who says we will come back? Maybe we'll love this so much that our journey won't come to an end." With that being said, you took a look out at the skies in front of you and took a deep breath. This was what you both wanted. There was no need for worries. "I love you Cal." "I love you too babycheeks." Calum lifted his and yours up his lips so he could press a soft kiss to your palm, a warm feeling going through your stomach by the sweet gesture.
