Liz's house were literally filled with the what you would point out as half of Australia's population, that was how many people that seemed to be in this little house. With you and Luke renovating your apartment due to just moving in, Liz had suggested that you guys could host the baby shower at her house. So while you and Luke were walking around the house to greet the family members and such, Liz walked around with dishes with the help of Jack, Andy and Ben. "Mom, you need any help?" Luke asked, stopping Liz in track. She looked shocked at one point, but after some seconds forming a smile before she gave Luke another dish. "Can you place it on the table next to other sweets?" Luke nodded his head and grabbed the dish, ready to turn around. "Oh and Lukey?" Liz asked, stopping him from walking into the room again. "I may or may not have accidently told dad's grandma that you and Y/N are actually engaged." Liz looked kind of embarrassed by having to mention this, Luke's eyes going wide. "What?" He exclaimed in a light voice, looking at his mom with wide eyes. "Please, you know how she is, and trying to explain to her that you and Y/N aren't even in a relationship but just had one nightstand-" "Mom, please don't even finish that sentence." Luke warned with wide eyes, Liz only letting out a chuckle. "We'll do our best." Liz nodded her head happy as she went over to the table with food, placing the dish on it. "How are we gonna work this out?" You exclaimed in a tiny voice as you walked beside Luke towards the sweets table. "Just follow my lead okay?" He asked, you just nodding your head stunned, watching him as he placed the dish on the table and turned around, trying to scan the crowd. "She's over here." He shook his head towards her direction before his hand reached out for yours, intertwining your fingers and the two of you walking towards grandma, you feeling Luke's hand shake. "Lukey!" She exclaimed almost loudly when she noticed Luke, her eyes going even wider when she saw your baby bump. "And Y/N! You've grown so much since I saw you the last time! Not a shock though." She laughed, her hand rubbing up and down your stomach. "For how long do I have to wait until I can feel my grand grandson in my arms?" She asked, looking up at the two of you. "A little over a month left." Luke answered, wrapping an arm around your shoulder and placing a kiss to your forehead. Luke's grandma's eyes lit up by the smaller gesture, her hands clapping together in joy. "Oh, I just never thought you guys would get together in the end. I remember how your mom would always tell me that I was wrong when I said I imagined you two together in the future. You guys always played outside at the playground and I remember every time you would come home, you would be filled with sand and mud all over your body; it took years to get it off your clothes. But I was right Lukey, I knew you would confess your feelings to her one day even if you first had to realize it yourself after years of years." Luke almost choked on his salvia by his grandma's speech, your eyes going wide, noticing Luke starting to blush next to you. "Well, yeah, it happened." Luke said awkwardly, looking down at you embarrassed, but it didn't seem to have affected you, which was a relief to him.  "And when's the wedding?" Your eyes went wide as you looked up at Luke in pure confuse, him not looking quite comfortable with the question as well. "Now granny, we shouldn't question the hosts anymore, they've got some presents for the little Hemmo to open." Liz interrupted, literally saving your ass making Luke let out the breath he was holding, "Oh yes, you have to open my first, I did my very best." She exclaimed, following the four of you towards the table where people was already gathering around to watch you open presents. "Thank god for Liz." You mumbled in his ear, Luke just nodding his head fast looking quite exhausted. "See, this one." Grandma reached out for what was her present, giving it to you and Luke. Luke let you open the present as he watched you intensely, everyone staring at you as you wrapped it up, Luke's eyes going wide by the recognition of the present. "You remember it Luke?" She asked, Luke breaking into a smile. "It looks exactly like the play guitar you gave me when I was younger." He said in awe, admiring it. "I did my very best for the best couple ever." She smiled, everyone starting to awe, your cheeks rising and Luke's as well. He could only look down at you with a smile before placed a kiss to your nose, mainly because he could. You let out a small giggle by his action before shaking your head, ready to unwrap some more presents. You guys were the perfect act for this.
