A/N: The title of this preference is something I've wanted to write all from the beginning where I started in 2013! And now, it's finally here and I'm so happy! To make it a bit more interesting I've changed Michael's and Calum's so they aren't their usual characters :3

Luke:

"Now everyone may I have your attention. This is an emergency announcement and we need you guys to seek the closest emergency exit as possible. It's been noticed that there has been started a fire in one of the dressing rooms. The smoke is getting thick and if you haven't already noticed it's starting to spread inside the arena. We need you guys to stay calm and with the help of the security guards head out, and I repeat, get out of the nearest emergency exit as fast as possible. Firefighters have been summoned." Luke almost dropped his guitar in shock by the news that had been announced in the speakers and he could see from backstage how fans had started to panic, running around like headless chickens and trying to mob themselves out of the queues that were waiting to get inside. "Oh my god." Ashton exclaimed and threw his drum sticks into the air and when he looked down he saw smoke starting to cloud from one of the other rooms. This should have been just like the other arena tour shows but this clearly took a different direction. Even though the boys remained calm as possible while they headed over towards the nearest emergency exit where many people from crew and such trying to get out, the stood in line and waited while witnessing the chaos in the audience. "This is so not good." Michael said shocked and saw how their fans were both crying, panicking and trying their best to get out without pushing onto each other. "Guys come on!" John yelled towards the four of them as they now just stood frozen and looked out from the stage in horror. "Don't just stand there." He said and grabbed onto Michael and Ashton and pushed them into the crowd again. "This is a serious emergency and not something to make a snapchat about." Luke rolled his eyes by John and Calum let out a small chuckle as they headed back in the queue and focused on getting out. And now they couldn't even get out of the queue as so many crew members from backstage had now crowded them, making them stand close to everyone and not getting the chance to come out before they were out in the daylight. In the massive crowd of people Luke froze and stared out in the air blank and with wide eyes and that was when he realized it. You were still in the dressing room taking a nap and nobody had probably concluded that and since he couldn't see you anywhere in the crowd, he knew you were still in there. Even though everyone was heading one way Luke broke the road and headed back towards the stage. "Luke! What are you doing?" John yelled in fear and watched as Luke managed to get out of the crowd and running towards the scene. John and Calum looked at each other wide eyed before Calum moved his head back towards Luke and started to sprint. "Not you too Cal!" John yelled but before he could manage to stop Cal he was far gone from his reach and John was pulled out of the emergency door by one the security guards.

Calum (Firefighter AU):

This was supposed to be a simple boring day at your office. Just sitting in front of your laptop and doing whatever your boss told you to, while drinking coffee and eating one of the synthetic gourmet dishes and trying not to get more bored out of your life. Though you felt that something was way different today. Like something was going to blow up and create chaos, you could feel it just as soon as you stepped inside the building. After trying for half an hour to make the copy machine down your office work, you fought the chance to break something as you marched towards the shared copy room, and wanting to get these filed copied and printed as fast as possible so you wouldn't have to spend all night on it and use some time at the café when you got home. It was Friday and somehow you felt like celebrating it. You were too caught up in your own thoughts that you didn't even noticed the faint smoke clouding by your feet as you walked inside the copy room and started to make copies. It wasn't until the management of the office building announced that a fire had started to appear only three rooms away from you violently and it made your eyes go wide as you noticed the condition you were in. Throwing the papers somewhere you sprinted towards the door and usually you always managed to get outside of it even though it could be teasing and being stuck but this time there was no luck. "Are you kidding me?" You asked and started to rip in the handle but it was no use and jumping out of the window was too far up. You were caught and there was no way out. "This can't be happening." You mumbled to yourself and feeling how dizzy you were getting and that was when the roof above of you started to fall down from the other side of the room. "Oh my god.." You exclaimed and began to run around in paces, feeling the overwhelming power from the ashes engulfing your lungs. This continued on for 20 minutes with yells and screams but nobody could hear you but that was until you heard someone outside on the hallway. "Sir, we are clueless if there are more people in the building." One of the fire fighters said, his skin black from the ashes and his eyes squeezing from the burning heat. "There is.." You whispered, holding onto the table and trying to scream but no words came out of your mouth. It was like something was blocked and you could feel how thick the smoke was getting, and it was damaging your lungs by each breathe you took. You managed to take off your shoe and with all the power you had you threw it towards the door which made give a minimal noise. That was enough for you to collapse onto the floor and hiccups repeated from you in a need of trying to breathe but nothing was worth it. "Did you hear that?" The same fireman said and it made a bit of hope appear inside you while you fought the chance to stay awake. "Is somebody in there?" The man yelled but there was no respond. "It's locked." He said wide eyed and looked at his employee. "WE NEED AN AXE TO CUT OPEN, IMEEDIATELTY."
