Rubab's pov

I came out of my room with my heart throbbing.

"Allah, please help me,"

With slow and hesitant steps, I walked towards the room where Dishaan bhai is resting.

Taha is also scared because our fate will decide today. I know very well that if Dishaan bhai gets to know about my nikah, he will immediately inform Abraham mamu, which is my only concern.

I step into the room, and my eyes turn confused and shocked at the same time.

"Shoaib bhai... seriously?"

Shahram and Shoaib Bhai were sitting there, engrossed in their phones.

"Shoaib Bhai..." it came out like a whisper because I am seeing him after so many years.

"Ayesha, meri gudiya," he said cheerfully, walking to me and engulfing me in a bone-crushing hug.

"Meri gudiya kaisi hai aap?" he asked, pecking my head lovingly.

"Bilkul thik hu Bhai...aap kaise hai?" my voice comes out throaty.

But before he could say anything further,

The most unwanted voice interrupts me.

"Rubs yar, I am also present here," Shahram said childishly, trying to gain my attention.

I pull out of Bhai's embrace and glare at him.

He makes a puppy face and tries to hug me.

But I stop him by showing my palm.

I am angry with him, this 18-year-old kid... urgh.

"Come on, rubs. I know you are angry with me, but see, I didn't let Dishaan phupa come here," he said, throwing his hands in the air.

We both burst into laughter.

We are busy talking to each other when the sound of the door opening turns my attention towards the door.

My dear hubby is standing there, looking breathtaking in a green pathani and white sadri.

"Taha, jijks."

"Taha jijks, MashaAllah, aap to bahot haseen o Jameel hain," Shahram said.

And I give him a glare, is he insane? Shoaib Bhai is also here.

"Don't worry, Gudiya, Shahram told me everything," Bhai said, as if he read my mind.

Meanwhile, Taha was standing at the door in confusion and shock.

"Are Miya Salam dua nahi karonge humse? Tumhari biwi ka bada bhai hoon main," Shoaib Bhai said in a teasing tone, and my cheeks turned crimson.

He immediately came to Shoaib Bhai and hugged him.

"Assalamualaikum, Bhai," Taha said, pulling out of the hug.

"Walaikum assalam, zyada free hone ki zarurat nahi hai abhi, tumhe bahot sare imtehan dene hai," Shoaib Bhai said in a threatening tone, making me look at him in anger.

Shahram and Shoaib Bhai laughed together, making Taha also smile, which showed his dimples clearly.

"Ab samajh aya, Shoaib Chachu?" Shahram said naughtily.

"Kya samajh aya tumhe, chhote Ahmed Sahab?" Bhai asked.

"Humari rubab pakka iske dimples par apna Dil kho baithi hai," he said, making a funny face, and fury took over me.

"Shahram ke bachche," I glared at him.

"Yaar, rubs, abhi to Shahram khud bachha hai," Afshaan's voice was heard behind us.
