Prologue:
Alex Moriarty is not what you call normal. She's obsessed with science rather than socialising.
Alex's POV:||:
It's a big move, Australia to London. For me, anyways.. I've just turned 20 and have been hired at St Bartholomew's Hospital, in the ballistics area.
I've moved here with my friend; Natalie, who is also 20 coincidentally, to Baker Street in central London, right near St. Bart's. "Natalie? Have you got a spare minute?" I yelled from my chair in the loungeroom.
"Yeah?" She replied walking out with a book.
"Can you pass me my phone?" I asked looking around, biting my lip in deep thought.
"Your phone is right beside you, get it yourself!" She spat, fairly annoyed.
"Ok, thanks. Thing is I didn't know where it was" I mumbled as I grabbed my phone and messaged my boss, Molly, to ask what time I was starting work.
'Hey, just wanting to know what time I was starting today please? -Alex :)'
Molly Hooper:
'Oh hi Alex! You start at 12, see you there! -Molly'
'Thanks -AM'
