"I'm with Eli now Irene, we're just going to visit you there after this" Imee said on the phone while talking to Irene.
Today is Saturday, Imee invited Eli to have a little bonding with her niece. Irene really wants to go but she can't. She does have lots of patients to take care of today.
"Sure Manang, buy me some pizza and bring two iced coffee for me and Micah. Thank you, see you later. Take care of my daughter, manang"
"Sure Irene, bye" Imee said before ended the call
"Micah next patient please" wika ni Irene pagkababa niya ng cellphone sa mesa.
Mahaba habang oras pa ang gugugulin nila sa pagccheck up dahil marami ang pasyente nila.
"Huwag na ulit hahayaang matuyuan ng pawis ang bata mommy ha? Jacob baby huwag masyadong makulit para di na ashtmahin okay?" Malambing na wika ni Irene sa isang pasyente.
The mother nod her heads and say thank you to Irene while the Baby boy walk near her and suddenly hug Irene.
"Thank you Doc Ganda" he said
"Oh you're so sweet Jacob, walang anuman. Magpapagaling pa okay? And always to follow mommy para di na magkasakit" tumango ang bata at bumitiw sa yakap
Irene pat the boy's head and smiled.
"Thank you Doc, mauna na po kami" wika nung nanay, tumango naman si Irene at ngumiti.
Mabilisan lang ang mga naging check up nila dahil karamihan naman sa pasyente ay follow up check up nalang kaya naman bandang alas dos ay wala ng pila.
"Micah what do you want to eat?"
"Kahit ano na po Doc" sagot ni Micah habang nag aayos ng mga gamit nila
"Okay magoorder na ako" she said and get her phone para makapagorder na.
Tinulungan niya na rin si Micah sa pag aayos ng mga gamit para mabilis silang matapos.
After cleaning the room they went to Irene's office and have a rest while waiting for their food
"Hello Hellooo!" Nagulat sila nang biglang bumukas ang pintuan ng office ni Irene at pumasok si Doc Ara na ang taas taas nanaman ng energy.
"So hyper Ara" komento ni Irene while leaning on her swivel chair.
"Syempre wala na akong trabaho sa araw na ito eh edi masaya ako" sagot ni Ara at umupo sa sofa na nasa harao ng mesa ni Micah.
"Mukha naman kayong pagod, katatapos lang ng check ups?" Tumango sila ni Micah.
"Oh I see, edi di pa kayo kumain?"
"I already ordered our food hinihintay nalang. Why are you here? May sasabihin ka?" Irene asked, inirapan siya agad ni Ara
"Ayaw mo ba akong makita?" She acted like she was hurt, Irene and Micah chuckles.
"Ay ewan ko sayo"
"Dear may nakakalimutan kang kwento sa akin dear" nakangiting wika ni Ara
"What is it?"
"About Paula" she mouthed. Napapikit si Irene.
"Next time Ara, I didn't have enough energy on that and besides its not worth the time"
Ara was about to say something when the telephone of Irene's office rang kaya agad na lumapit si Irene para sagutin iyon
"Hello this is Irene, who is this?"
"From lobby po Doc, your order is already here in the lobby po"
"Oh okay, I'll go there. Thank you"
"And may I ask po if you know where is Doc Ara? Doc Elrod is looking for her" napatingin siya kay Ara.
