Tae's POV

I enter the room and am greeted by the ringing of his phone, again.

'Janhae'

The caller's name

I answer the call.

"Tee? Are you okay? Are you coming to work?" The latter at the end of the line asks.

"Work?" My inner thought comes out as a question.

"You're not Tee. Why are you answering his phone?" Janhae asks.

"He is sleeping right now. He is having a fever." I reply.

"Oh! Again? Poor Tee."

"Yes. I will let him know you call later. And sorry, he will be absent from work today." I say.

"Can I ask where did Tee work at?" I continue.

"Oh. At the convenience store in the university." Janhae replies.

"Ah, I see."

So, he has been working to pay for the loan and his studies?

He's not rich. He's a student and does not work at the club. Then how did I end up meeting him at the club?

That's the first question I pop up when he's awake.

He says he came with his friends for drinks.

That's friends, huh.

They don't deserve to be called friends.

I sigh.

I tell him what happened at the club and how I ended up 'helping' him.

He's blushing and hiding on his knees.

Cute.

I am actually nervous.

I don't want him to hate me.

Why?

I don't know.

I invite him to breakfast and know he doesn't drink coffee.

Luckily, I have apple juice in my fridge.

One thing that I am so curious about him.

"They called you Tee. What is your real name?" I ask.

"Titiawat Sadukorn." He replies.

Why was I disappointed?

Why did I feel like my world was crumbling down again?

I give him back his phone and suddenly he's crying.

No..no...no... don't cry. You're not supposed to cry.
