Chapter 12

CHRIS's POV

I am at Sarah's house gate rn.

Tbh. I am worried about sarah because she didn't come to school today and also we had a morning classes today but she didn't came to tuition classes as well. I hv never seen her take leave even when she is Ill as hell. So why today. Is she okay, is her family members okay. I cant help but wonder if something wrong happened to her.

I ranged the doorbell.

"Sarah open the door." I heard her mother yell. She didn't responded. I ranged again. "Saraah!!!!" Her mother yelled again furiously. They must be fighting but why didn't she came to school. I ranged the bell again. "Sarah, you are so dead if you didn't open it." She yelled, sounding extremely furious. But sarah still didn't responded. Why? Is she ok? She can never disobey her mother. She is afraid of her mother then why isn't she listening then.i ranged again feeling terrible for sarah. " Saraah!!! ungrateful pathetic trash you are so dead now." I heard her mother.

Then her mother opened the door.

"Chris, oh hi. Come on in." Her voice changed from terrible to irritating voice that she thinks sounds sweet.
"Emma was- "

"Where is sarah?" I asked cutting her off.

"Uhm.....you..uh..she must be in her room,but emma- " I cut her off by walking towards Sarah's room.

I knocked the door.

No answer.

I knock again but still no answer. I got impatient and opened the door. She isn't here. Her bed is empty and  bathroom door is open. I walked towards it to...

Shit.

She..... No, hell no.

She is blanked out and blood is all over the floor. It's like, she drowned in her own blood pool.

But how? Did she suicide

I looked at her. She is bruised. Her eyes are purple almost blackish. Nose broken. And she has a blade in her hands. And her hands are full of scars. Not only the fresh scars but also old ones. Looks like she has tried this so many times. " Sarah! Sarah r u okay? Sarah" I felt a tear roll down my cheeks

But what about her face full of bruises. Is she getting abused by someone. Who?

I rushed to her to check her pulse. I want her okay. I want her to be okay. Not only for her but also for me. She cant die like this.

"Sarah, wake up. Sarah pls." I slapped her cheeks lightly to wake her up.

She is still breathing. Hardly but breathing. I held her wrist to not cause more blood lose. I called 112 and then her mother. Her mother came.

"What happened-" her eyes got wide not with fear or sadness but because of rage. I could hear a bit of rage in her voice. " Oh my god, what happened to my baby." She said crying but I couldn't help but notice the fake in her voice. Still.

"Do you hv a car?" I asked hurrying, knowing ambulance will take too long to come.

"Yes- " I picked sarah up and took her to the car. I told sabrina to sit in the back seat with sarah and tied her wrist with my handkerchief to stop the blood. I told sabrina to hold her wrist to prevent more blood lose as well.

We arrived at the hospital and sarah was admitted. After a while, doctor came out of the room, where sarah was.

"D-doctor is...is she okay." I hurriedly asked him.

"Uhm...yeah she is out of danger now but she should hv admitted a lot earlier and also she lose a lot of blood. So she must need a blood transfusion." He said, "and r u family?" He asked as I shook my head. " Who is her family." I looked at sabrina. And she nodded.

"I need to talk to you." Doctor said to sabrina as I got tensed.

" Can I see her?" I asked

Doctor nodded "yes, but she is weak and needs some rest so pls be more cautious and don't say something that will bother her." I nodded and went towards her room.

I froze as I opened the door. It feels so bad to see your friend like this. Miserably broken.

So?

I know this chapter was depressing and maybe boring but I hv exams going on and I tried making this chapter as good as I can. Coz hv to study too. I hv seriously wrote this within 10 mins but I know it not an excuse.

But what do you think is gonna happen next?
Will sarah be okay?
Will she tell Chris why she suicided?
Will her mother start loving her?
