It was 10 am when Richard waked up, When he opened his eyes, he saw Paul still sleeping, holding his hand

Richard needed to go to the bathroom so he sat down and slowly got up, naked he went to the bathroom and when he went back he saw Paul rolling in bed

Richard walked over to his side of the bed and leaned over him

"Good morning, we are getting up arent we? *Richard shook Paul gently

"nah ah" *Paul grunted

"Yeah ah, comon wake up"*Richard said

"If you don't get up now, I'll go smoke a cigarette by myself" *Richard said

"No, no, no you can't smoke, Richard, you can't do this to yourself after surgery" *Paul said angrily getting up from the bed

"You see, you can wake up"*Richard smiled

"stop making fun of me and get dressed"*Paul smiled

Paul and Richard got dressed and went to have breakfast when they were finishing breakfast Paul's phone rang with the name Schneider on it

"Schneider is calling should I pick it up?" * Richard asked

"Nah he's calling me almost always, so hang up for once I am not in mood for Schneider"

"Okay then but you will explain to him why we didn't pick it up because you have a lot of unreaded messages here" *Richard responded

"Can you read some of the messages? It could be something important" *Paul asked

"Sure"

When Richard said that, he took Paul's phone and opened it, as he started to read the sms, he turned pale

"Emm Paul I think Till told them what happened" *Richard said honestly

"why do you think what he writes?" *Paul asked

"if we're making fun of each other and he absolutely needs to see our video from the surgery, did Walter give you the tape??" *Richard asked

"Um yea I think" *Paul said

"I'd say we have some explaining to do to the boys, don't you think? Shall I invite them for coffee? I want to see how the operation went too after all, I was out of my senses soo, what do you think?"

Paul hesitated for a while but finally agreed, Paul called the other members of the band to meet at Richard's place by the hour all three arrived

When they entered en masse, they quickly followed Richard who was lying on the couch with his chest bandaged

"Wow Till wasn't lying" *Flake said in surprise

"What does that mean, you are so problematic Richard" *Schneider said ridiculously

"Hey guys, I didn't want to do it, but I could have died if I didn't went through, so take it easy. Who all wants to see that surgery video? But I must say it's not for the faint of heart, so don't say I didn't warn you" Richard said

Flake Schneider and Ollie agreed to take a look because they all wondered if Till was telling the truth. Till walked closer to Richard and helped him sit down so that everyone could fit on the couch, Paul went to the TV and turned it on.

"Look guys I don't want to experience this again so I will be in bedroom or something okay?" *Paul asked

Everyone agreed and Paul left, guys I'll go too, Till said and left to see Paul. Only Richard, Flake, Schneider and Ollie remained in the living room.

"What should we prepare for, Richard, will it be bloody?" *Schneider chuckled

"Yes it will be bloody and it is to this day very painful, so ask questions after the video" *Richard said honestly

The boys fell silent and watched the TV, there where the part when Richard stopped cooperating while sucking water from his lungs. Everyone was as quiet as mice, not one of the boys spoke. A moment passed and Oliver got up and went out into the fresh air

"But guys, what's going on? Is it too much for you?"* Richard laughed

"What the fuck is this Richard" *Schneider said

"trust me watching is better than experiencing it" *Richard replied

As the video continued it got to the part where they were pulling the tube out of Richard's lungs and he was choking on his own vomit

"I'm not up to this Richard, what the fuck is going on there" *Said Oliver who was just coming back and saw it from a distance

"I said ask me the questions at the end" *replied Richard

So the boys got quiet again and watched. When they got to the point where Richard was being cut alive and heard his muffled scream. And when they heard Richard scream in agony when they broke his rib and Paul and Till panicked, they had enough

"turn it of Richard this is too much" *Flake said

"All of you wanted to see it, and you haven't seen me pass out yet and almost bleed out"*Rich smiled

"I think we saw enough blood and pain.." *Ollie said

"Well, as you wish, guys, but I warned you before we started" *told them Reesh

"Richard how is even possible to survive something like this.. Are you okay..?" *Oliver asked

"Well, I don't know how I survived this. And if I should be honest boys.. no I am not okay.. like yea Paul is happy and I should be fine but.. its hard.." *Richard responded

"So you will be healthy again? Like cancer free?" *Schnei asked

"Yes completely, but.. I am not doing well lately so I dont care at all.."*Rich said

"Richard we all know that you are doing shitty.. can we help you with something? We want to help you as much as possible"*Ollie said

Richard just sighed and thanked Oliver for the suggestion he gave him.

Richard got up from the couch and excused himself, then he went outside to the garden all alone but after few minutes Till came outside too.

"Do you want a cigarette?"* Till asked

"Of course I do, but I can't you know that" *Richard smiled a bit

"I'm just teasing you" *Till smiled back

"Richard, me and Paul talked a bit about future of the band, and we should start thinking about new album, what do you say?" *Till asked

Richard sighed and looked at Till

"I don't know really, I would like to recover first and then maybe we could do something. But Till I don't think I am ready to live like I used to.. you know the me and addiction thing and Paul.."
