I drove to my son's school and my head feels like it is about to explode. I have not even thought about how to explain all this to Mingyu and yet here we are. As expected, my son and his father will really meet each other no matter how much I try to avoid it. I got off my car and messaged the homeroom teacher to ask her where they were. She told me she is going for come out and pick me up.

Teacher: Mr. Jeon! Over here!

I saw her waving near the entrance of the administrative building.

Wonwoo: I am so sorry if I took a bit of time, traffic at this time is awful.

Hangyul came running towards me and hugged me so tight. It was such a painful scene to see. Every sob he made crushed my heart. This is what I was trying to avoid all along. Guess a parent can only do much. No matter how much we try to protect our children, pain and sadness still find their way to them. Well, they are still their own person, their lives are not completely in our hands.

Wonwoo: (caress hangyul's back) why baby? Why is my baby crying?
