Pilot episode 3: Weapons of destiny

After escaping the fire temple to the underworld, Wu awakens to see he is now in the underworld
"Hmm the underworld." Wu mumbled as he saw some skulkin warriors, quickly moving and hiding, he covers the weapon as he looks for Garmadon

Meanwhile back on the ground above, Jay, Cole and Zane arrived at the fire temple to look for Kai, (Y/N) and Wu
"Kai! Sensei! (Y/N)!." Cole yelled out for the trio
"The Sword of Fire was here, as well our friends, but I only sense loss. We are too late, the Elemental Weapons have left this realm and are now in the underworld. The end is drawing near." Zane said sadly
"Ugh... great. The one place no mortal can cross over." Cole groaned
"We might not be able to cross over... Kai said from inside the temple
...but a dragon can." Kai said as the fire dragon exits with Kai, Nya and (Y/N)
Cole screams and hides behind a pillar
"Our father used to tell us stories about the dragons, that they were mystical creatures that belong to both worlds and ferried between them
"So we thought, why not tame him?." (Y/N) asked
"Are in insane?!." Cole yelled in fear
"Knock it off Cole, the dragons friendly see?." (Y/N) gestured to Kai playing with the dragon as Nya giggled
Jay groans which makes Nya confused
"He cannot talk, but he wants to know if you like blue?." Zane asked as Nya smiled
"It's my favourite colour." Nya smiled as Jay pumped his fist
"What happened to his voice, not that I don't mind." (Y/N) asked Zane
"Well you see-
"Not the time Zane." Cole interrupted as (Y/N) looked confused
"Nya...
"This is goodbye isn't it?." Nya asked as (Y/N) patted her back resulting her to look at him with hopeful eyes before looking at her brother again
"Just come back in one piece, okay? I don't want a have to run the store on my own." Nya said
"I promise I won't be gone for long." Kai promised
"I'll keep a candle lit outside our shop until you return." Nya said as (Y/N) walked over
"And I'll keep your brother out of trouble." (Y/N) said as Nya smiled at him
Jay and Zane hope on the dragon but Cole stays back
"You guys go on ahead. There's not enough room for all of us on that... thing." Cole said as the Fire dragon looked at him
(Y/N) walked up to him
"We know Cole." (Y/N) said smirking with Kai
"But we got a way to fix that." Kai said with a knowing smirk

The next day rolls around around as the five ninja were seen riding the elemental dragons, (Y/N) on the back of the Fire Dragon with Kai while Cole awkwardly holds the dragon
"Easy... not so fast..." Cole coward in fear
"Woah this is awesome!." Jay said still groaning
"Yes. This is quite fun." Zane responded
"Easy for you to say, you guys have dragons." (Y/N) groaned as Cole looked at him
"You can have mine." Cole coward still as (Y/N) shook his head
"I'll pass on that thanks though." (Y/N) said
As they kept flying Cole asked a question
"So how do the dragons cross over to the underworld?." Cole asked as the dragons began descending
"I think we're about to find out..." Kai said as the dragons gained speed before doing a spinjitzu motion crossing over to the underworld
"Is it over?." Cole asked
"Hardly! I hope these dragons know what they're doing!." Kai yelled as the dragons gained more speed accelerating towards the underworld
"They're speeding up! Hold on!." Kai yelled as a few moments of silence as the four ninja almost reach the underworld, soon the ninja arrived into the underworld
"Solid ground. We made it!." Cole cheered
They notice the structure of the underworld and the vehicles the skulkin were building
"Sensei's inside." Zane said as Kai looked around
"They're expecting us." Kai said
They observe every skulkin, before they entered the building just as a cart full of waste barrows appears
"Hold up! Nothing gets through without inspection!." Kruncha said stopped a skulkin
"Ninja search!." Nuckal yelled as he knocked over the cart over where everything fell out
"Okay, clear to pass." Nuckal said as Kruncha sighed in disappointment
Meanwhile the ninja try to enter the building without being noticed, but they don't notice they are hanging on a Spykor creature, Jay quickly noticed and tried to warn the others but he couldn't with the lack of voice he had
"Can I be the first to say it's been an absolute pleasure since Jay lost his voice." Cole said as Kai nods in agreement
"I second that." (Y/N) said smiling when Jay punched his shoulder
"What?." (Y/N) asked annoyed until he noticed what Jay saw
"Oh....
"What's wrong... oh..." Cole said as he looked up and realised what they were hanging onto, they jumped off immediately landing on the ground it gains everyone's attention
"Uh... if there are more than one ninja. Is it ninjas or just ninja?." Nuckal asked
"I think it's just Ninja." Kruncha replied
"Oh okay, then. NINJA!." Nuckal yelled as the skulkin warriors surround the fire
"I count ten boneheads to every one of us. I think I like these odds." Cole said just as Spykor fell to the floor
"Uh-oh. Anyone got any bright ideas?!." Kai yelled as they came closer as (Y/N) grabbed his sais
"I'll handle them, you figure out a plan!." (Y/N) yelled as he kicked three skulkin away

Meanwhile Wu searched for his brother, as he reached the bottom, Garmadon appears from behind
"Brother." Garmadon laughed
"Brother." Wu responded looking at him while uncovering the sword
"Seize the sword!." Garmadon yelled as a bunch of Skulkin surround Wu
"Ninja! Go!." Wu yelled using spinjtizu to knock them enemies off
"You'll have to take it from me!." Wu yelled as Samukai emerged
"My pleasure." Samukai said as he began battling Wu, using the three other weapons to his advantage
"Teach him a lesson." Garmadon commanded

Meanwhile the others were still trying to figure out what to do while (Y/N) kept fighting the off
"Any ideas?!." (Y/N) yelled as he kept fighting them off
"We're thinking! Any ideas?! I'm still all ears!." Kai yelled
"Tornado of creation." Jay groaned
"Huh?." Kai asked confused
"You feel a weird sensation?." Cole asked
"No." Jay groaned
"You are an old crustacean?." Zane asked
"How is that helpful?!." (Y/N) yelled as he got kicked back to the gang
"Tornado of creation!." Jay groaned
"I got it. I got it! Two natives on vacation. Huh?." Kai asked
"Tornado of creation!." Jay yelled regaining his voice
"Oh.... The three ninja said
"Well that's actually helpful." (Y/N) said
"But it could lead to disastrous consequences." Cole said remembering Wus warning
"We're about to have a disastrous consequence." Kai said as the four looked together before looking at (Y/N)
"I got it, you guys stop them. I'll find Wu!." (Y/N) yelled as he jumped over the skulkin
The four ninja the yelled the corresponding elements
"Let's do this! Earth!."
"Fire!."
"Ice!."
"Lightning!."
"Ninja! Go!." They yelled together as the created a massive tornado sucking everything, some skulkin ran away and others jumped off the floor, others were sucked in including vehicles and Spykors, when they finished they saw that they had created a giant Ferris wheel trapping the remaining skulkin

Meanwhile inside (Y/N) ran down a stair case to find Wu who was currently fight Samukai while Garmadon watched
"You grow weak brother." Garmadon said as Wu blocked the scythe from hitting him
"End him and bring me the weapons!." Garmadon yelled as the other ninja arrived, they went to intervene but Kai and (Y/N) stopped them
"No, this is Sensei's fight." Kai said as they continued to watch
Wu blasted fire from the sword but missed, Samukai uses the shurikens of ice to freeze the sword on the ground. He then uses the scythe of quakes to split the ground into pieces and the nunchucks of lightning to disarm Wu, Samukai approaches Wu much to his worry
"Bring me the four weapons." Garmadon commanded but as Samukai picked up the sword he smiled
"No! You will obey me now!." Samukai yelled as he threaten Garmadon who began laughing mockingly, soon Samukai begins losing control of the weapons, Wu jumped over to the ninja
"No one can handle all their power at once." Wu said
"Selfish fool. Did you think I wouldn't plan on your betrayal?." Garmadon asked
"What's happening to me?!." Samukai yelled in fear as he lost control of the weapons
"You've fallen right into my master plan. Not even I can handle all of their power! But now that they are combined, it'll create a vortex through space and time, allowing me to finally escape this ghastly place!." Garmadon yelled as Samukai got lifted off the ground
"Uh-oh!." Samukai screamed as he explodes to his death, which create a vortex to which Garmadon walks up to it
"Father would not want you to do this brother." Wu said trying to reason with him but to no avail
"Father is no longer here! Good and evil, there has always been a balance, where I go, the balance can be destroyed. Soon I will be strong enough to possess the Four Weapons so I can recreate the world in my image!." Garmadon said as he looked at (Y/N)
"You have a chance to join me, and we can rule over all of Ninjago together, you by my side, master and apprentice." Garmadon said as (Y/N) glared at him
"I'll never betray my father and friends!." (Y/N) yelled at Garmadon who only smiled
"One day you'll see things my way and you will join me." Garmadon said as (Y/N) glared, he then looked at Wu
"You can't keep him safe forever, but until then, I will return." Before Garmadon walked in he had one last look at Wu
"You... you were always his favourite." Garmadon said as he walked in the vortex which closed
The four ninja jump over to the weapons and picked up their respective weapons
"Then I have done my part. The balance has been restored... for now." Wu said as they left

Back in Ignacia, the light is restored while Nya waits for Kai back in the four weapons blacksmith, she sees Kai return with his friends as she runs out and hugs him
"Kai!." Nya hugged him
"Hey, my turn!." Jay said as Nya hugged him to which Kai doesn't like, as she releases him she walks up to (Y/N) and hugs him as well which catches him off guard
"You kept your promise, thank you." Nya said as (Y/N)slightly blushed
"You're welcome." (Y/N) smiled as they released the hug she walks back to Kai
"I'm so happy you're back." Nya smiled
"For now... but it's not over. Lord Garmadon will return." Kai said which the village look worried
"And we'll be ready for him." Cole said as the villagers cheer
"Yeah!." Cole cheered
The four ninja high-five each other with their Golden weapons which causes a massive blast that knocks them down
"Okay, we gotta remember not to do that again." Kai said as they groaned
"Good idea." Cole said still groaning
"Yeah we'll stick to high fives instead." Jay groaned
"Agreed." Zane agreed as everyone laughs
"Was that a joke?." Zane asked
As (Y/N) walked up to the group
"All for five?." (Y/N) asked as he placed his hand in the centre as the rest of the ninja smiled and placed their hands on top of his
"All for five!." The cheered together raising their weapons together as they turn to the sun and place their hoods on together, ready for what comes next

Later in the night (Y/N) walked up to Wu who mediated
"Yes (Y/N)?." Wu asked
"What did Garmadon mean, about me? Being his apprentice?." (Y/N) asked as Wu opened his eyes and got up placing a hand on his shoulder
"I don't know, it seems Garmadon knows more about you then I could." Wu said as (Y/N) sighed
"What does the mean for me?." (Y/N) asked as Wu looked at him
"I do not know yet, but let's not dwell on that part of that chapter yet, for now we just await for Lord Garmadons return." Wu said as (Y/N) before quickly hugging him
"Thank you... father." (Y/N) smiled as he left making Wu smiled
"My pleasure.... My son." Wu smiled as he went back to mediating
