Season 3 Episode 30: The Curse of the Golden Master

Later that day, the Ninja ride a Hover-Copter back to a powered down New Ninjago City, they get out and notice everything in ruins
"What happened?." Kai asked as they walked around
"No power, that's what happened." Cole said as they looked around to see no one around
"Are we too late?." Zane asked as they step on a tripwire and makes the cars fall over, people emerge, the postman arrives at top
"Outsides must answer to the Postman!." A man yelled as the Postman looked at them
"Return... to... sender!." The Postman yelled as Cyrus approached
"Ah, you finally made it. Don't mind the savages. Since power out, everyone here has grown a bit bored. Their imagination knows no bounds." Borg said as he sees (Y/N)
"Ah the Purple Ninja, it's a pleasure to finally meet you, I'm so sorry for bringing the Overlord back, it was against my knowledge he would return through the central hard drive." Borg said as he shakes (Y/N)'s hand
"It's alright Mr. Borg, we didn't expect the Overlord to return." (Y/N) said as Borg noticed PIXAL powered up
"PIXAL... amazing! You're... powered." Borg smiled
"You need to stay in character, Borg. This is no fun if we're not all committed." The Postman said
"Oh, I'll have you committed if you don't all leave us at once. Now shoo!." Borg yelled as they all leave
"We have real problems to address. PIXAL, what's powering you?." Borg asked
"Zane gave me half of his heart." PIXAL smiled at Zane who smiled back, Borg smiled at Zane
"Thank you, Zane. I am greatly indebted. Unfortunately, the hard drive was stolen with the digital imprint of the Overlord. You'll be unable to erase him with your Techno Blades until we find it." Borg explained
"Aw, don't worry, we already had a little run in with the red-handed suspect. Or, should I say white-handed? He left behind a white scale. Get this, he's serpentine." Jay said as Cole takes off the cover for a manhole
"Lucky for us, the last Serpentine were sealed within a tomb right under the city, so it's about time we pay them a little visit." Cole said as they entered one by one
"Approach with caution. I've also lost a few valuable prototypes. He may be armed and extremely dangerous." Borg said
"We know, and uh, ahem, just for the record, when those prototypes are made available to the public, could you let me know? They're just the coolest of gadgets." Jay said as Zane allows PIXAL to enter first
"Uh, PIXAL, where are you going? Now that my assistant has unlimited power supply, there's an infinite amount of good to be done." Borg explained as Zane nods at PIXAL
"As you wish, Mr. Borg." PIXAL said as Zane enters, PIXAL looks at Zane one more time as he closes the manhole
"Watch your step Nya. We don't know when the last time this ladder was used." Cole warned as Nya smiled
"That's thoughtful of you Cole." Nya smiled
"Hey! How about you watch where you're watching. Cole? Huh?." Jay asked as Nyas step broke
"Uh, ah! Uh guys. A little help?." Nya asked
"I got you Nya!." (Y/N) said putting his arms out for her
"Oh, is that a threat? Cause coming from you, it sounds like some of your best material." Cole said
"Hahaha! There's a reason nobody liked you." Jay said
"Nya! Jump I got you!." (Y/N) yelled as Nyas step broke and she fell, only for (Y/N) to grab her
"See, I got you." (Y/N) smirked as Nya kissed his cheek
"My knight in shinning amour, unlike some other two!." Nya yelled at Jay and Cole
"Sorry Nya." Cole apologised
"Hey! Don't apologise to my girl!." Jay yelled
"Your girl? Seriously? Possessive much? Besides, she's not your girl, you can't claim someone who doesn't want to be with you." Cole said as Jay looked shameful
"Let's keep our eyes peeled. Our mystery suspect could be done anywhere done here." Zane said as the get some glow sticks
"Stay close Nya, I'll keep you safe." (Y/N) said as Nya blushed and smiled
"You're a treasure." Nya smiled as they held hands
"Serpentine. Never thought I'd see them again." Kai said as they walked away

Meanwhile in Borg Industries Bowels, the stranger plans ways to power the Nindroids
"We know where the Golden and Purple Ninja is, so why are we doing nothing about it? The Purple Ninja is in our grasp yet we stay here and do nothing? I must escape this wretched digital prison!." The Overlord yelled
"Patience. The Golden and Purple Ninja won't go down without a fight, and we've already depleted our Electro-Cobrai. Before we take Lloyd's Golden powers, and (Y/N)'s ultimate Darkness powers, we need more power of our own." The Stranger said
"Then find more. Once I become physical and powerful again, and rid the scourge that is the ninja, I will walk Ninjago with the power to rule this world, and beyond with my creation who betrayed me." The Overlord said
"Don't worry. In one step ahead of you." The stranger said as he holds a pamphlet of the Ninjago City Aquarium

Meanwhile in Hiroshi's Labyrinth, Lloyd and Garmadon walk through the jungle
"How anyone got through this jungle is beyond me." Lloyd asked as they walked around
"Hiroshi's Labyrinth. Legend says no one has ever escaped its deadly maze except for Hiroshi himself. But the maze is no match for your powers. This is the perfect place to hide from the Overlords clutches." Garmadon explained as Lloyd sighs
"Hide. That's all I ever seem to do." Lloyd sighed
"Your Golden Power only strengthens his cause. We must not lose sight." Garmadon said
"But (Y/N) is in the Overlords territory, what happens if the Overlord gets him?." Lloyd asked
"(Y/N) will be fine, as long as he sticks with the others, he'll make it through." Garmadon said
"I just can't not worry about him, his been by my side since I was a little kid." Lloyd said
"Well, we must hope that he will be okay, for now we must keep you protected." Garmadon said as Lloyd sighed
"Yeah, I know." Lloyd said looking down
"Keep your chin up son. Legend also states there is a jewel inside the maze, the most beautiful oasis no one has ever seen before. Perhaps we will be the first." Garmadon said smiling as they continued to walk

Meanwhile, the Ninja continue down the sewers, they grow close to the serpentine village
"Tomb of the Stone Army, it's been sealed since the Serpentine were trapped here." Kai said
"It's been awhile since we last encountered them, I wonder what they've been doing since then?." (Y/N) asked as they noticed it was open
"It appears the seal has been opened." Zane said as they heard Skales whistling, they looked at him
"Skales?." (Y/N) asked looking confused as Skales yelps
"Ahh! Not you again!." Skales yelled annoyed
"Skales. Something told me you'd be behind this. Search his bag." Cole said
"Wait!-
(Y/N)'s words failed to reach them as they grabbed his bag
"Ahh! This is harassment. I've done nothing wrong." Skales said as (Y/N) tried to pull them back
"I'm so so so sorry! We have a good reason for this, but this doesn't mean we should be going through his stuff guys!." (Y/N) apologised as he pulled everyone back, but they kept going back
"(Y/N), he must have the stolen hard drive!." Cole yelled
"What are you hiding?." Jay asked as Kai tipped the bag over
"He's hiding...groceries? And the latest issue of Ninjago Times." Kai looked confused
"Oh, you do it for the crossword too?." (Y/N) asked picking his groceries up and handing him to them
"Yes, what can I say? I'm a sucker for it, and at least one of you has manners to not accuse a snake who did nothing wrong." Skales glared at the others as Skales Jr walked out
"Daddy? Are you okay?." Skales Jr asked
"Stay inside Skales Jr." Selma said appearing behind him
"Skales Jr? Uh, you have a son?." Kai looked confused
"We've been busy since you left us. And we prefer to keep it that way." Skales said
"Oh, uh... congratulations." (Y/N) said
"Thank you, now leave." Skales said approaching his family
"Why are they here?  Is this about the Golden Master? Is he going to hurt us?." Skales Jr asked
"That is only a story, son. They were just leaving." Skales said glaring at them
"Golden Master? Is this about Lloyd?." Zane asked
"Uh, what?." (Y/N) looked confused
"Like you, we have our own legends. But I guess in ours, you are the bad guys, even you, Overlords creation." Skales pointed at (Y/N)
"Wha- how- how did you know that?." (Y/N) asked
"We have our ways." Skales said shrugging
"You said something about a legend? What legend?." Nya asked holding (Y/N)'s hand again
"They have the right to know. If we're going to shed a new skin. We must open our home to others." Selma said as Skales nodded reluctantly
"Oh, all right. Let's go, surface dwellers. If you'd like to hear the Curse of the Golden Master, follow me." Skales said as they walked in
"I don't like Serpentine, but I don't like curses either. If this has anything to do with Lloyd, we need to know." Kai said as they followed inside

Meanwhile above in the Aquarium, Dearth takes the students inside the building
"We may not have power, but we still have sharks!." The curator announced as they saw sharks
"All right, everyone. Stay together, stay together. Come on now." Dearth ordered
"Why do we have to do our field trip at the aquarium? Can't we go to the Toxic Bogs or anywhere else not so lame?." Brad asked
"Cause until your regular teachers get back from saving the world. I'm in charge and I have the responsibilities of making sure nothing bad happens to you. Now, single file." Dearth said as they students complied
"Did I ever tell you I am fluent in the language of the sea?." Dearth asked
"Great Mr. Dearth." Sally said uninterested
"That's Mr. Brown Ninja to you, Sally." Dearth said as some students watched a shark attack a group of fish
"Woah! And I thought Mr. Dearth had a big mouth." A boy said as dearth heard him
"I heard that!." Dearth yelled as he looked at a security guard
"Ahem. Excuse me. Which way to the Electro-Cobrai exhibit? I hear it's shocking." Dearth punned as the guard sighs
"That way." He pointed where a sign sat
"All right, all right, my precious minnows. Come on,. Follow me." Dearth said as they followed excitedly behind dearth
"All right!." A boy cheered as they went in, as they do, the Stranger becomes visible and the guard notices
"Hey, hey you! Come here." He said approaching him, only for the stranger to disappear again
"Woah! Shocking." He said pressing an alarm button only to remember there is no power
"Hm? Alarm! Alarm! Alarm!." He yelled which echoed through the room
"What is it?." Sally asked
"The sound of danger. Huddle near, child." Dearth said as he saw the stranger, he removed a lid
"Hey, you're not one of my students." Dearth said
"No. No im not." He said as he blows a high-pitched whistle breaking the tank, they cover their ears as the Electro-Cobrai enter the jar
"Hold on, minnows! Hold on!." Dearth yelled as they held onto something
"Help! Help!." Sally yelled as a shark approaches her
"I've got you Sally!." Dearth yelled as he saw towards her, he pulls her back before the shark can attack
"Stay back kids!." Dearth ordered as he stops the shark from biting him, he then makes various animals noises confusing the shark, it then swam away and the kids cheer as they get to safety
"Thank you for saving me. You really can talk to them. What did you say?." Sally asked
"I told him, leave the Brown Ninja alone, or else I'd be severing fish sticks." Dearth said

Meanwhile in the Bowels, the Electro-Cobrai gather inside a chamber
"The heist is complete. We now have enough power to go after the Golden and Purple Ninja." The stranger explained
"Good." The Overlord said as they laughed, the stranger then walks to a desk
"What are you doing?." The Overlord asked
"If we are to acquire the Purple Ninja, I may have taken something worth of value." The stranger said chuckling slightly
"Good, everything is going to plan." The Overlord laughed

Meanwhile, the Ninja enter the Tomb
"After a rather humbling scrap with those indestructible Stone Warriors, we've made amends with our warring past and found way to help better ourselves." Skales explained as they saw the Serpentine being friendly with each other
"You're not thugs, you give hugs." A serpentine child said to other children
"Try again, it will be our pleasure." Lasha said to Fangtom
"It will be... our pleasure." Fangtoms heads said
"Woah, you aren't kidding." (Y/N) said amazed
"Well, just cause you got a few snakes to go straight. Doesn't mean there's not one bad apple. Fangpyre have white scales, don't they?." Kai asked
"A few. Is this about the missing hard drive?." Skales asked
"Yes and no, this is about the Overlord." (Y/N) said
"Ah, the Overlord. Glad we weren't around for that mess. No, we have no desire to meddle in the affairs above. As you can see, we stick to our own. We only want what's best for the next generation. Have a seat. You could learn a thing or two about your beloved Golden Master." Skales said as they sit down, he moves as Acidicus emerged
"Hello, hatchlings, and camouflaged land dwellers. Do you seek to learn about the Curse of the Golden Master?." Acidicus asked
"Tell me! Tell me!." Jay yelled excited
"Patiences Jay, I'm sorry Acidicus, please continue." (Y/N) apologised as Jay glared at him
"Thank you, creation of the Overlord." Acidicus thanked
"Does everyone know I'm the creation of the Overlord?." (Y/N) asked only to be ignored
"When the First Spinjtizu Master created Ninjago, deep in the ground, he created the Serpentine. Since the first dawn, our elders knew of the Curse of the Golden Master, when he who had the powers equal to the First Spinjtizu Master would rise and usher in the last of the setting suns. With no equal adversary, his power will go unmatched. His destructive rule will change the face of the world, and he will not stop until every man, woman, and Serpentine are enslaved under his control." Acidicus explained
"Is he referring to Lloyd?." Zane asked Kai who shrugs
"The Serpentine tried to warn the land dwellers, but they wouldn't listen. They thought we were the enemy, though we were only trying to prevent the prophecy of the Golden Masters terrible reign. After the Great Devourer failed to scare the unbelievers below ground, it is we who retreated beneath the soil, promising to never return, even now that the end is inevitable." Acidicus explained

Meanwhile in Borg Tower, PIXAL gets connected to some wires
"First patch into the mainframe... success! Suppress bandwidth for wider connection... we have power! By glory's grace, my office has clean, untouched by evil power! Thank you. Now we can use this to track the Nindroid presence, and they won't see us coming." Cyrus smiled
"Sir, you created me and gave me life. I belong to you. Yet, Zane saved my life. When I was with him I felt... a connection. I felt... free." PIXAL smiled
"PIXAL, remember this, you belong to no one. If you want to be with Zane, then you should be with him." Cyrus said as PIXAL smiled,  Cyrus then heard beeping
"What? Nindroid power signatures. This is impossible. It says they're right here. 12 feet, 8 feet, this makes no sense." Cyrus looked confused
"Unless they're beneath us." PIXAL said as they looked worried

Meanwhile underground, Acidicus finished explaining the prophecy
"I can't believe they think Lloyd could become the Golden Master." Kai said
"Well, he is the son of Lord Garmadon." Jay said
"But the question is how do I fit in this." (Y/N) said
"Ah yes, Creation of the Overlord, your story is more complex then the last." Acidicus said
"How so?." Cole asked
"You see, the Overlord after creating his indestructible army knew he couldn't win, after the Overlord was separated from Ninjago, he needed someone to finish what he couldn't, he knew the First Spinjtizu Master would create others to protect the chosen one, so he created his own chosen one, he chose a random couple to drop him off at the Monastery for Lord Garmadon to collect and train so he would be ready to destroy the chosen one, unfortunately he was picked by the other brother and his destiny had changed, but the Overlord will not quit until his creation has been returned to finish his prophecy." Acidicus explained much to their shock
"Lord Garmadon was meant to have (Y/N)?." Kai asked shocked
"That means, this whole time, Lord Garmadon wanted (Y/N) as his apprentice only for the Overlord to take him back." Zane said as (Y/N) processed the information, Nya held his hand
"Hey, you aren't what he made, your you, a selfless hero." Nya said smiling at (Y/N) who smiled back
"We're under attack! Protect the young!." Lasha yelled as everyone screams and runs
"Nindroids!." Cole yelled as they ran in
"Ugh! These toasters never know when to quit." Jay groaned
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but... protect the Serpentine!." Kai yelled
"Ninja! Go!." Kai, Cole, Jay and (Y/N) yelled as they went to attack
"If only I could use Spinjtizu. Without PIXAL... my technique is barely adequate." Zane said as Skales grabs him
"What evil have you brought here?." Skales asked
"Sorry about that! We didn't know we were being followed!." Zane apologised
"Junior? Junior!." Selma yelled
"Mommy! Ahh!." Skales Jr yelled as Cryptor tripped him and laughs
"So you're the future of the fearless Serpentine?." Cryptor laughs as (Y/N) kicks him away
"Bullying children now? How low can you be?." (Y/N) asked as he grabbed Skales Jr and ran to Selma
"Thank you... Purple Ninja." Selma smiled
"Get to safety, we'll handel them." (Y/N) said as Selma nodded running away
Zane meanwhile helps Jay up after Cryptor knocked them off him
"Phew." Cole sighed
"Ugh. If we could figure out what powered them, this would all be a while lot easier." Jay said as he saved Nya from an attack, Cole then unplugs the Electro-Cobrai tank a Nindroid
"Hey! They're powered by some sort of eel thing inside their backs!." Cole announced
"Ninja! Go!." The ninja yelled as they unplug the Nindroids using their Spinjtizu, they soon fall over like domino's as they are all powered down, the ninja cheer as they are all disabled, except for one that was Possessed by the Overlord and grabs Zane's leg
"Foolish Nindroid, you are helping the wrong side." The Overlord said
"The Overlord! You'll never succeed. Not if we have anything to say about it." Zane said glaring at him as the Overlord laughs
"I already have, you've unknowingly led me straight to the Golden Ninja. And this was merely a diversion to keep you busy. And thank you for bringing the Purple Ninja closer to me, you have helped me dearly." The Overlord said as Zane unplugs the Nindroid, unknowing to them, another Nindroid with a glowing chest reactivates and grabs onto (Y/N)
"Ahh!." (Y/N) yelled
"(Y/N)!." They yelled
"Hahahah! You ninja really are foolish! You failed to protect them both!." The Overlord yelled inside the other Nindroid, the Ninja ran to him only for (Y/N) and the Nindroid to disappear in a flash, the ninja stop and looked shocked
"No!." They yelled
"They hold too much power. I feel the Curse of the Golden Master is upon us." Skales said
"The dawn of the end of times is near." Acidicus said
"We have to get (Y/N) back!." Kai yelled
"And we have to get to Lloyd before they do." Nya said slightly crying about the loss of (Y/N)
"Are you sure you won't help us?." Zane asked
"I'm sorry. We've made an oath never to return to the surface. Good luck. Oh, and one more thing. There's only one Serpentine who's had a history of being so fond of using Electro-Cobrai." Skales said
"Who?." They asked

Meanwhile, inside the Labyrinths Lloyd and Garmadon made it to the Labyrinths jewel
"The jewel of the Labyrinth. It's...
"The most beautiful thing I've ever seen." Lloyd finished the Sentence amazed
"Yes. Beauty can be born even in darkness." Garmadon said as they hear buzzing and trees being cut down
"They've found you. You must leave! Go!." Garmadon yelled as Lloyd hesitated
"I said leave!." Garmadon yelled as Techno Wu emerged and they attack
"Why must we always be on opposite sides, brother? I made an oath not to fight, but I'll still defeat you." Garmadon said as they attacked each other. Lloyd creates his Green cycle
"No! Trust in the balance!." Garmadon yelled as Lloyd drives away, Nindroids follow behind on their jet packs, he defeated them by driving around, he chuckles before his eyes widen, he then stops before he reaches the end of the cliff, he then hears wings flapping and sees the MechDragon, where Garmadon is in a chokehold by Tech Wu who uses his staff to restrain him
"Dad!." Lloyd yelled
"Go, Lloyd! And never look back!." Garmadon yelled
"Leave, and your father falls." The Overlord said possessing the Dragon
Lloyd tries to use his powers, but the stranger captures him with a snake strangler
"My powers gone." Lloyd said trying to get free as the stranger approaches, he takes his hood off and Lloyd looks in shock
"Hello, old chum." Pythor said smiling evilly, his purple Skales now bleached white
"Pythor? I thought you were-
"Hmm, gone? Actually, I suffered a worse fate. Digested in the bowels of the Devourer. It can wreak havoc on one's complexion. Fortunately for Wu, he escaped unscathed." Pythor explained
"Finally, the Golden Ninja is mine. Now the transformation can be complete." The Overlord said as Lloyd looks at his father
"I couldn't leave you. I can't do this alone. I failed you, father." Lloyd said sadly
"It's okay son. It is I who failed-
"He is no longer of importance to me. Throw him overboard." The Overlord ordered as Tech Wu drops him off, Garmadon screams as he falls into the Endless Sea
"No! Father!." Lloyd yelled as he gets pushed onto the Dragon that flies away, Garmadon emerged to the surface
"Be strong son, nephew. I will find you both. I will find you both." Garmadon said

Inside the Dragon, Lloyd gets pushed inside and he sees (Y/N) inside a pod
"Lloyd!." (Y/N) yelled banging on the pod
"(Y/N)!." Lloyd yelled as he gets pushed inside the tube
"Oh, a family reunion always annoyed me." Pythor said
"Pythor!?." (Y/N) yelled confused
"Hello, it's been awhile, ever since you left me to rot inside of the Devourers stomach." Pythor said as the Overlord laughs
"Finally! My powers and body shall be given back to me!." The Overlord yelled as they start getting drained of their powers, the Overlord laughs as they groaned
"No......" (Y/N) groaned as he and Lloyd fell to their knees
