Season 4 Episode 38: Ninja Roll

On a rainy day, Kai runs around trying to find the next tournament, he hears the music and runs over, inside, skylor and Jacob get ready to fight
"Skylor, Master of Amber, versus Jacob, Master of sound. Fight! Fight!." Chen announced, Skylor span her staff and Jacob strums his guitar
"Eenie, meenie, minie, moe. Catch a JadeBlade by its toe!." Skylor yelled as she and Jacob fight each other
"Master of Sounds gotten stronger since the last time I saw him." Garmadon praised as Kai finds his way into the arena
"Excuse me. Excuse me. Uh don't mean to block your view. Just passing through. Sorry." Kai apologised to the Elemental Masters before sitting next to the others
"All of these temples look the same. Did I miss anything?." Kai asked
"Ugh, but the looks of it, you didn't miss much." Jay said pointing at the upset Elemental Masters
"Maybe we shouldn't be sitting together. I mean, the more they think we're a team, the bigger targets we put on ourselves." Jay said
"Don't say that, we are a team. Sure we just lost Cole and still can't find Zane and (Y/N), but we're a team. Just smaller. All the more reason to stick together." Lloyd said as Kai noticed skylor fighting
"Skylors fighting?." Kai asked
"What has him so excited?." Garmadon asked curiously
"Ha had a crush on her until he found out they might be related." Jay told Garmadon
"Her element isn't Fire. She's the Master of Amber, power of absorption. She can emulate the power of anyone she's touched." Garmadon explained much to Kai's joy
"You're telling me we're not related?!." Kai asked shocked
"Oh boy. Here we go again." Jay groaned as Skylor breaks a vase and grabs a blow dart, she blows it to the walls confusing Jacob, she then steals the JadeBlade from a vase, everyone cheers for her
"Yes! Go skylor!." Kai cheered
"Winner! And loser!." Chen yelled at Jacob as a trapdoor opens underneath him
"I hope the Tournament of Elements has entertained you as much as it has me. To thank you, I wanted to give everyone fancy jewels and untold shiny things." Chen smiled as he pulls out a box of jewels
"But then in yesterday's battle. Master Jay and Cole tried to undermine me by teaming up and refusing to fight each other. And that made me very upset. For their insubordination, all of your fancy quarters will be taken away, and tonight everyone must sleep together in the chow house! That is all. Thank you, you can go." Chen said as everyone glared at the ninja
"Nice on Jay!." Kai yelled
"Woah, easy Romeo." Jay tried to calm Kai down
"Don't worry about them. We aren't here to make friends, just to save ours." Lloyd said
"Yes, but your exclusion of others has only made enemies. Beware how you treat those around you, for they will treat you the same." Garmadon said

Meanwhile, Cole is locked up in the dungeon
"You can take my clothes and my power, but you'll never take my super strength!." Cole yelled trying to break the bars, but it didn't budge
"All right, so you got that too." Cole groaned as Clouse opens the door
"You're letting me go?." Cole asked confused
"Of course not. Your presence is required in the factory." Clouse told Cole
"The factory?! Lock me up for all I care! I'm never gonna lift a finger for you, you despicable- ah!." Cole screamed as Clouse and Zugu drag him to the factory
"A noodle factory? Ha. Why didn't you say so? Hahaha! This is my kind of place. Look, that's how they make the noodles. Oh, and that's the dumpling machine. And is that how you make fortune cookies? Haha!." Cole laughed as he grabs on and turns to a worker
"You know there's a fortune in those, right?." Cole asked
"There's only one rule. No eating the merchandise." Clouse said as he left
"No eating the merchandise? How cruel can this place be?!." Cole yelled as he runs to Zugu
"You're evil!." Cole yelled as he tries to eat the cookie, only for Zugu to steal it
"Mm, yummy." Zugu chuckled as he ate it, Cole walked back over to Karlof
"Don't worry. After while, not so bad. Since you knew. I show you how to chop noodles." Karlof said as Cole pulls in the wrong lever dropping flour on another worker
"Not that one." Karlof said as Cole pulls the right lever
"See? Chop." Karlof said as Cole chopped the noodles
"Now don't make trouble." Karlof told Cole
"Well, I for one don't like following rules. The minute you tell me the coast is clear, I'm busting out of here." Jacob said
"Even if you get past the guards. Mr Blind Guy, there's still the labyrinth guarded by big snake." Karlof told Jacob
"My names not Mr Blind Guy. It's Jacob. And you may have already lost hope, but not me and my buddy Cole here. Am i right?." Jacob said as he looks to his right
"Actually, I'm on your left." Cole told Jacob as he looks at his left
"Oh, heh. Hey you moved on me. Heh. Sneaky ninja." Jacob chuckled

Nya parks her D.B in an alleyway
"And you say the noodle trucks disappear at night? But where do they go?." Wu asked on a hologram
"That's what I'm trying to figure out. Perhaps if I follow them, they can lead me to more answers. I'll report more when I uncover more." Nya said as she hangs up
"Initiate replicate software." Nya said pressing a button which changes the D.B Express to look like a noodle truck
"You're not the only one who can disappear." Nya said
Meanwhile inside Chens Noodle House, dearth complains
"What do you mean you discontinued the Puffy Potstickers? They were my favourite. Do you even know who you're dealing with?." Dearth asked
"Yes, Master Dearth. If you have a problem, take it up with them." The restaurant owner said pointing at the noodle trucks, dearth runs out and chases them
"Wait! Come back! I need my Puffy Potstickers!." Dearth yelled chasing them

Back on the island, the ninja wake up
"Couldn't sleep either?." Jay asked
"Not when we still have to get Zane, (Y/N) and Cole back." Kai said
"Speaking of backs, these new beds are the worst. All right, let's do-
Before Lloyd could finish what he was saying, they heard an Anacondrai cultist bang on a gong and the lights turn on
"Quick, back in bed." Kai said as they pretended to be asleep, Clouse then walks in
"Good morning fighters. Oh, that's right, it's the middle of the night." Clouse said as everyone woke up, the cultists put skates on the Masters
"Hey, what are you doing?." Lloyd asked
"Do you know what time it is?." Jay asked
"Roller skates? Woah! Ahh!." Kai screamed as he falls, skylor helps him up
"Thanks." Kai thanked
"Let me guess, another one of Chens impromptu battles?." Lloyd asked as he and multiple others skate
"Oh, roll skates, I love roller skates!." Jay laughed
"We should be getting used to this by now." Lloyd said
"Did I ever mention I once placed first in the Mother-Son skate off? Hehe. I should have never admitted that." Jay regretted
"Weirdo." Mr Pale said passing by
"Master Chen wants everyone in the Royal Arena. I wouldn't be late if I were you." Clouse said
"If most of us have already fought, why are we all in skates?." Skylor asked confused
"Only two of you will be fighting, but the rest of you will have a chance to affect the outcome." Clouse told them
"Who's fighting? Tell us now." Griffin asked excited
"The Green Ninja versus the Master of Form." Clouse said as he left
"Master of Form? Who's that?." Lloyd asked as "Kai" skated past him
"You haven't heard? I hear she can look like anyone, she'd be right under your nose, and by the time you figure it out, she's discovered all your weaknesses, then it's game over. But you're the Green Ninja, what weakness could you have?." "Kai" asked
"Ugh. Aside from the sore back, not many." Lloyd said
"Thanks." "Kai" thanked skating away
"Whoo-hoo-hoo!." Jay laughed
"Skates." Kai said skating up to Lloyd
"Kai?." Lloyd looked confused
"Why did it have to be skates?!." Kai yelled as he falls while the other Kai has a high pitched voice
"Watch your back, Green Ninja." "Kai" said as he revealed "himself" to be Chamille using her power
"Woah! That was amazing!." Jay praised Chamille
"Don't get too flattered Blue Ninja." Chamille winked at Jay who sighed in love
"Oh no, not again." Lloyd sighed
"What's with Jay?." Kai asked getting up
"Jays in love with my opponent." Lloyd sighed and Kai laughs
"Seriously?." Kai laughed as he fell over
"Woah!." Kai yelled as he landed on his butt, Jay snapped out of his trance and looked at them
"Huh what?." Jay asked looking confused at the duo

Back in the noodle factory, Zugu leaves and Jacob takes his chance to escape. Cole is about to follow but Karlof stops him
"Eh, make noodles, not trouble." Karlof told Cole, Jacob gets to the door and is about to escape when Clouse is about to come in
"Ah-" Cole tries to warn him but Karlof stops him
"Hey! Not one of you could've warned me?." Jacob asked as Clouse grabs him
"Make an example of him. Take him to feed my serpent." Clouse ordered
"Hey, hey!." Jacob yelled as he gets dragged out
"Feed his serpent? He doesn't mean-
"Karlof not make trouble, Karlof make noodle." Karlof groaned as he pulls a lever that dumps flour on Cole
"I'm so not into this dumpling dump after all." Cole groaned cover in flour

Meanwhile the Elemental Masters skate towards the arena
"I don't like the look of this." Lloyd said
"Don't worry, we got your back. Ahh! Ugh." Kai groaned as he fell again
"Welcome to my favourite club event. Thunder blade!." Chen announced
"Hey, I know this game. It's just like-
"No, it's not like that! This is my game. I made it up! Fully original!." Chen yelled at Griffin before tossing two JadeBlades
"A JadeBlade for you Lloyd, Master of Power." Chen said as Lloyd grabs the blade and a green helmet
"And another for Chamille, Master of Form. Where- where are you?." Chen asked as Chamille revealed herself
"Oh, there you are." Chen said as he tossed her the blade and a orange helmet
"Isn't she cool?." Jay asked swooned at her, Chamille looked at Jay and winked
"Get your head in the game Jay." Kai said wobbling
"Haha. Rules are simple. Each lap you complete with your blade in possession, a point. Most points before time expires, you win." Chen explained
"Woah, woah, woah. What about us? Are we supposed to just stand here?." Griffin asked
"You get to help anyone you wish, or hurt for that matter. You're free to choose sides. I'm not a dictator." Chen said as everyone but Jay and Kai joined Chamille
"What was that you said about us having targets on our backs?." Lloyd asked
"Don't worry, we're still a team." Kai said as he fell again
"Aargh!." Kai groaned
"I gotta be honest. This doesn't look good." Jay sighed as Chamille skated over to him
"Not too late to change to the winning side handsome." Chamille said to Jay who started to blush
"Uh- what?." Jay asked looking confused, Chamille chuckled before skating away, the racers take their places
"Lloyd, Master of Power, versus Chamille, Master of Form. Most laps with their JadeBlade when time runs out wins. Loser is out. Thunderbladers on your mark, get set, good luck to everyone, but mostly Chamille because we all want the Green Ninja out. Now go!." Chen yelled as the duo get a head start
"Oh, how about some spectator ambiance?." Chen asked as he presses a button to make the speakers cheer, everyone else then take off
"It's us against the world Kai. If Lloyd has any chance of moving forward in the tournament, it's up to you and me." Jay said as skylor appeared next to them
"Lloyd's your greatest competition. If he loses today, what's left to stand in your way from winning it all?." Skylor asked
"I'd never think of it." Kai told Skylor
"Maybe you should." Skylor said as she pushed Kai and makes him fall again
Jay meanwhile sees everyone pushing Lloyd
"We have to give him room." Jay told Kai who got up again
"And just how are we supposed to do that?." Kai asked
"I got an idea. Don't touch anyone." Jay said
"Then who am I supposed to hold onto?." Kai asked as Jay shocks the competitors
"Thanks." Lloyd thanked
"Sorry." Kai apologised as he pushes his way through and falls on Lloyd accidentally
"Use your powers!." Kai told Lloyd
"On roller skates? You crazy?." Lloyd asked as he gots up
"I'd never stay on the track." Lloyd told Kai
"You're supposed to be helping, not hurting his chances." Jay said
"Thanks for the tip, but I can't skate!." Kai yelled

Meanwhile on a ferry, noodle trucks load onto the ferry
"Nothing unusual to see here. Just a technologically advanced mobile base camouflaged as a noodle truck." Nya said talking to herself, she screams when Dearth taps on her window
"I beg of you, you gotta tell Master Chen not to give up on the Puffy Potstickers!." Dearth yelled as Nya sighs before rolling down the window confusing dearth
"Huh? Nya? When did you start slinging noodles? Is this to take your mind off (Y/N)?." Dearth asked
"Quiet, you're gonna blow my cover, also, what?." Nya asked
"Cover? Oh my gosh, you're on a mission. And why is your truck tripping me out?." Dearth asked as he touched the truck making it lose its holo form, Nya pulls him inside
"Far out." Dearth groaned as he gasped
"But wait a minute. I don't see any noodles." Dearth said
"It's not a noodle truck! It's my only hope of finding the ninja." Nya told dearth
"The ninja have gone missing? Sounds like a job for-
"No, it's not. You're not coming with me." Nya said as dearth sees a guard coming up to them
"Looks like you don't have a choice." Dearth said
"Somehow, I know I'm gonna regret this." Nya groaned

Meanwhile on the island, the Masters continue to race
"Thunderblade never fails to deliver. Did you know I hold the record with a hundred points? Clouse can attest. Tell him Clouse." Chen said
"You were born with skates on, master." Clouse said uninterested
"True story." Chen said looking at Garmadon
"True story, hmph. Just like all his far-fetched endeavours." Garmadon said
"There was once a time when you were quite comfortable with lying. It worked on Misako didn't it?." Clouse asked smirking at Garmadon
"Button, button, I love buttons. Aha, let's even the playing field, shall we?." Chen asked as he activates a ramp which Kai falls on
"Grab my hand! I'll whip ya!." Jay yelled at Lloyd, he crossed the finish line only for Chamille to form back to normal
"Thanks cutie!." Chamille yelled at Jay blowing him a kiss, Chamille then noticed Lloyd's back
"Aw, his back is hurting him. Shadow, strike his back." Chamille ordered
"Wait, where'd the Master of Shadow go?." Jay asked as Shade hits Lloyd's back, Mr Pale grabs his JadeBlade, Jay pushes him back and grabs the blade
"You didn't learn that in your Mother-Son skate off did you?." Lloyd asked Jay
"It's a fierce competition, Lloyd, and this isn't the time to judge. It's the time to skate faster." Jay said giving Lloyd back his blade, he then jumps over Kai and Griffin who fall
"Haha!." Jay laughed at Tox uses her powers to make a poison cloud
"Watch out for the poison cloud!." Jay yelled as he and Lloyd skate around it, Kai unfortunately goes inside it
"Thanks for the warning." Kai groaned
"Release the buggy!." Chen yelled as multiple buggies come out from the ground
"Look out Lloyd!." Jay yelled as he pushes Lloyd out of the way, Lloyd then sees Chamille on the buggy
"She has the lead and she gets a lift? I know Chen wants me out, but this is getting ridiculous." Lloyd said
"Sorry Tox." Jay apologised as he pushed her
"Must be my allergies kicking in." Jay said as Neruo and Griffin grab Jay
"Check this out." Griffin said
"Gotcha." Neruo said as Griffin started using his powers to push Jay into Lloyd
"We are so not loved." Jay groaned
"You're very convincing. In no time, Lloyd will be out." Skylor said next to Kai
"This did wonders for my back, though." Lloyd said
"And he'll never suspect." Skylor said angering Kai
"Argh! That's it! I may not be able to skate, but that doesn't mean I can't help." Kai said as he uses his powers to propel himself into Chamille, Jay grabs her JadeBlade
"Haha! Nice Kai! Now you're cooking with Fire!." Jay praised as Chamille chased him
"I got it, you want it! Come and get it! Come and get it!." Jay yelled at Chamille
"I'm starting to like this boy." Chamille smirked
"What are you doing? We need Lloyd out." Skylor said
"We need to stick together. I'm a ninja." Kai said
"Ugh. That's right. And the rest of us aren't. I should've known better." Skylor groaned skating off
"Lloyd's closing the gap, but the clocks against us." Jay said as they looked at the time
"Do is everyone else. Garmadons right. The more we exclude everyone, the more they gang up on us." Kai explained
"What are you saying?." Jay asked
"I'm saying why don't we tell them about Chen? If others knew what this tournament was really about, maybe they'd help us." Kai explained
"Uh, worth a try, but times running out and Lloyd's got a lot of ground to make up." Jay said
"Sorry cutie!." Chamille said as she pushed Jay and grabs the JadeBlade
"I've got a job to finish, but don't worry, when I win, you can celebrate with me." Chamille smirked winking at Jay
"I don't know if she actually likes me or if this is some kind of ploy." Jay said confused as Kai bumps into skylor
"Are you trying to take me out too?." Skylor asked
"No you're right. We aren't all ninja, but Chens the real enemy. He doesn't care about who wins. He only wants to steal our powers so that he can perform some sort of spell." Kai explained
"A spell? What kind of spell?." Mr Pale asked
"I don't know, but we have to stay in the tournament to find out." Kai said
"This isn't about Lloyd winning. It's about all of us stopping Chen." Jay explained
"And why are you telling me this now?." Griffin asked
"Because it's never too late to do the right thing." Lloyd said
"He's telling the truth. I know." Neuro said
"Then why have you now decided to help?." Jay asked Neuro
"I'd rather be in the winning team." Neuro said
"Then let's win this thing!." Lloyd yelled as Kai drives up to Lloyd with skylor on the buggy
"Need a lift?." Kai asked
"Ugh. You took the buggy." Lloyd said
"We took the buggy." Kai said showing skylor
"Take the wheel!." Kai yelled as Lloyd get on and changed the buggy into the Jungle Raider
"Cut the green guy some slack." Griffin said as he pushes Tox
"Buttons, buttons, buttons!." Chen yelled as he tries to stop Lloyd who dodges them all, he approaches Chamille
"We don't have to keep fighting each other. We can all win." Lloyd said
"All of us?." Chamille asked
"Untied." Lloyd said as Chamille pulled Lloyd out of the buggy
"Sorry green bean, but Only one can remain." Chamille apologised as she skated
"Lloyd just win. Do something!." Chen yelled as Garmadon tackles Clouse before he can use his Dark Magic. Chen nods at the score keeper to change the score
"Ugh, he's rigging the match. I'll stop him." Kai glared at the score keeper
"Let me." Skylor said as she uses Gravity to levitate the score keeper, Lloyd and Chamille cross the finish line, Lloyd has his JadeBlade but Chamille doesn't
"She doesn't have her blade!." Jay yelled as she poked back and saw she dropped it
"Lloyd won!." Kai yelled
"Oops, I almost forgot." Skylor smirked dropping the score keeper changing Lloyd's score to 106 points
"Look at that! He broke your record." Garmadon smirked at Chen
"No, no, no! He cheated! Lloyd loses!." Chen yelled
"No way, Lloyd won fair and square. You were the one who cheated." Griffin said looking at Chen
"My tournament my rules." Chen crossed his arms
"And just what rules are those? If Lloyd's out, then so am I." Mr Pale said
"Me too." Kai joined in
"And me three." Jay said
"If you kick us all out, what kind of tournament will you have then?." Skylor asked as Chen snaps
"Fine, have it your way. Form loses." Chen said pressing a button as Chamille falls down, everyone cheers
"All right! We won! Yeah!." Jay cheered
"If what you say is true, you are playing a dangerous game, Chen will find other ways to get you out of the tournament." Skylor said
"Which is why we'll need all the friends we can get. There's always hope." Kai said

Meanwhile in the dungeons, Zugu leads the Elemental Masters somewhere
"I don't know PIXAL. But I sense these chains are unbreakable." Zane said as Cole goes to the door
"What are you doing? Don't make trouble." Karlof warned
"Zane, is that you?." Cole asked
"What's the holdup?." Zugu asked
"One second. Karlof tie shoe." Karlof covered up for Cole
"You're alive! And your silver?." Cole looked confused seeing Zane at the door
"Titanium. Cole, you look white." Zane said
"Boy, it's great to see you! Look at that, you look brand new." Cole smiled
"Tie shoe? What shoe?." Zugu asked
"Is (Y/N) here? Is he actually...
"Did someone say my name?." (Y/N) asked appearing at the door as Cole gasped
"(Y/N)? (Y/N)! You're actually alive!." Cole smiled
"Uhhh, yeah I and...who are you?." (Y/N) asked
"What? Buddy it's me... Cole?." Cole asked looking at (Y/N)
"(Y/N) is currently suffering from amnesia." Zane told Cole
"Well don't worry, we'll get you back to normal old friend, and I'm getting us three out of here. That's a promise." Cole smiled
"You're one of my friends aren't you?." (Y/N) smiled
"The bestest friend." Cole smiled as Zugu walks to Karlof
"Where is Cole?." Zugu grunted as he pushes Karlof
"Right here. Keep it real big guy. Looks like you've seen a ghost." Cole said as Zugu walked away
"From here on out, Karlof, I'm making more than noodles. I'm making trouble. Chen can try his best to split up our team, but he's about to find out what happens when we put ourselves back together." Cole smiled
