Season 1 Episode 7: Tick Tock

On the destiny's bounty, the ninja hold a pocket watch and watch the time as Zane holds his breath underwater, patting a fish as it passes
"Ten minutes! He just broke his own record. The guys inhuman!." Kai said surprised as Zane resurfaced, they cheer for him
"Amazing!." Cole cheered
"We're not worthy." Jay said
"I'm both deeply impressed and distributed." (Y/N) said as he clapped for Zane
"I broke the record?." Zane asked
"You destroyed it!." Kai yelled smiling as Zane climbed aboard
"Okay okay. Is anyone thinking what I'm thinking? We've been training for so long. I don't think we can get any better. Just think about all we've accomplished." Jay said

A flashback occurs as Kai is seen running across several hot coals, Jay spinning on a metal rod on one hand during a lightning storm, Cole attempts to lift a barbell only to add more weights, he then lifts it up while Jay and Nya sit on one end of the barbell nothing holding a barbell, meanwhile (Y/N) does some swift motions and quickly moves around as the ninja shot elemental beams at him, (Y/N) eyes start to flicker purple for a sec as he deflects the elemental blasts, they cheer for him

"The question should be raised. Perhaps we have reached our Full Potential?." Zane asked as they walked inside the bounty to find Wu
"Well, every morning I do five hundred push-ups." Zane said
"Five hundred? Ha, try a thousand." Kai said gloating
"Hahaha, I do a thousand and one." Jay laughed
"What is this? Amateur hour? Sounds like my warm up....
"I do over ten thousand push ups in the span of 10 minutes." (Y/N) gloated as they had their jaws drop
"Uh- okay I'll give you that (Y/N)." Cole said as they clapped in impressiveness
They walked into Sensei's room
"Sensei, what does True Potential look like if-
They see Wu putting away a katana
"Our apologies Sensei. We've interrupted you." Zane apologised as they bowed as Wu sighs
"I'm sorry if I've been distant lately. My mind has been elsewhere since Lloyd has gone missing. What can I help you with?." Wu asked
"Sensei, what if we've done enough training? What if we reached our True Potential? What if we're ready?." Cole asked
"Hmm, you might have reached physical condition. But you've yet to reach your inner potential. In each and everyone of us, there's obstacles that hold us back. Only when you conquer that fear will your heart be free. Only then will you reach your True Potential. Only then we will have a fighting chance to stop the Serpentine from releasing the Great Devourer." Wu explained
"There's more to the Great Devourer than you've led on. Isn't there Sensei?." Zane asked
"I too have obstacles within my own heart. There's a story I've never told you." Wu said as he begins to flashback
"Long ago, when I was a young boy, Garmadon and I were more than brothers. We were the best of friends." Wu said as the two boys fought each other with katanas smiling as Jay breaks the flashback
"Wait a minute. Now I know you two were brothers, but really? The king of cruelty. The Doer of Destruction, the captain of Chaos, and you two were friends?." Jay asked
"Please, no interruptions." Wu said as he continued to flashback
"You see, he did not always have a wicked heart. One day, I lost this very katana. Knowing our father would be mad, my brother told me to go retrieve it. But I refused. He told me not to put off what can be done today and went to get it himself. When my father found him, he was very ill, for he was bitten by a legendary snake that would grow forever as long as it consumes. A great evil had found its way into my brothers heart, for the snakes venom could turn the purest of things wicked." Wu explained
"Leave it. Leave me alone. I don't need you. I hate you." Young Garmadon yelled at his father who looked shocked while he laid on he's bed
"The snake is the same one the serpentine want to reawaken today." Wu said
"Ah! It hurts! It's all Wus fault!." Young Garmadon yelled looking at Wu as his eyes turned red young Wu looked scared and ran away
"It is the snake that took my brother away from me." Wu ended as (Y/N) looked shocked
"So the Great Devourer turned your brother into the Dark Lord?." Kai asked
"It was my fault. You four have finished your training. You must now focus on stopping Pythor from collecting the Fangbaldes. But never lose focus on the obstacles that lie within each of your hearts that holds you back from true greatness. Unlock your True Potential." Wu said before looking at (Y/N)
"I'm sorry that I cannot teach you how to unlock your full potential, but your powers still remain a mystery to me, the only one who knows of your powers has not only been turned evil...
"But is also missing somewhere else." (Y/N) finished Wu's sentence as Wu sadly nodded
"I only wish to see your greatness unlock itself one day." Wu said as he looked at the rest of them
"Now I must go on a personal journey of my own." Wu said to the five
"Where are you going?." Jay asked
"To a place you cannot follow." Wu said
"If you're going for Lloyd, the City of Ouroboros is filled with hundreds kg Serpetine. You'll never do it alone." Cole said
"Yeah. Let us get some payback for Lloyd." (Y/N) said looking determined
"I am going to find someone who can be of aid. The serpentine have united and grown stronger and we will need all the help we can get." Wu said as they fly to a mountain and drop Wu off, (Y/N) giving him a quick hug before they left again

Meanwhile with the snakes, Pythor tries to find the location of the Fangblades
"It says nothing about where the four Fangblades are hidden. Have our ancestors left us nothing? Where are they?." Skales questioned annoyed
"This. Here. This must be a clue. When five Fangblades untie as one, the path towards the Devourer has begun." Pythor read
"Yes, when the five tribes unite. We've done all this. It means nothing. If you don't find out soon, the other will begin to ask questions. And soon they will start to think you don't know what you are doing." Skales said
"I know what I'm doing fool. I'm trying to unleash the Great Devourer. Legend spoke of a map showing exactly where the Four Fangblades have been buried. There must be something around here. Keep looking." Pythor said as they kept looking

In a village nearby, Nya hangs up a poster of a Fangblade
"Oh this is silly." Zane said
"You have any better ideas?." Cole asked as (Y/N) hanged a poster up
"I agree with Zane, this is silly." (Y/N) said
"Hey maybe Sensei is gonna get the samurai got help." Jay said
"The Samurai? I'm sure she's- I mean, he's busy looking for the Fangblades as well." Kai said covering up quickly
"Yeah, the Samurai is a busy guy, can't always be rushing him around for help you know?." (Y/N) said as he and Kai chuckle nervously while Nya smiled nervously
"Uh, is everything all right?." Cole asked
"Yeah yeah. Why wouldn't it be?." Kai asked
"One hundred percent. We're not hiding anything." Nya said
"Nope nothing coming to mind whatsoever about hiding something? Why would we hide something from you guys? Hey is anyone else hungry?." (Y/N) said trying to change the subject
Before anyone could speak they see Zane drop the flyers
"Hey weirdo, you're making a mess of my store front. Yoo-hoo! You got a problem?." The store man said as Zane ignored him and dropped the rest of the flyers and walks away
"Maybe I should teach you a lesson on manners." The man said angrily
"I'm sorry sir. Sometimes our friend is in another world." Kai said
"He's littering all over the place." The man said
"We'll pick it up. So sorry." Cole said as the man walked inside while Jay walked up to Zane
"Zane. What's the deal?." Jay asked as Zane showed them the falcon
"Ah! It's the Falcon! Oh, my gosh! Every time we follow it, it leads us to good fortune." Jay said
"Yes! A mission!." (Y/N) pumped his fist
"Head back to the Bounty and wait till you hear from us." Kai told Nya
"But where are you going?." Nya asked
"We're gonna follow the bird. Who knows, it could lead us to the first Fangblade." Kai said as they followed the bird
"I guess good fortune is really far away." Kai said as they ran

The ninja climb on a mountain when Jay stops in a branch
"Keep going. I'll.... I'll catch up." Jay puffed as they continued
The keep running as Cole stops
"I'm good. Just....just taking a breather. Uh, I'll meet up with you shortly." Cole said puffed as they kept running
"Good thing.... We're in.... Peak... physical.... Condition. Gosh, that bird just keeps going." Kai pants as he stops at a sign
"Hey, what do you make of this?." Kai asked the duo
"I am not familiar with a Treehorn." Zane said as he read the sign
"It's probably just some wild squirrels, heh. Well don't lose him. I'll wait for the other guys to catch up." Kai said as Zane and (Y/N) continued
"You are not tired?." Zane asked
"Hey you think I was joking about those ten thousand push ups?." (Y/N) asked as they kept running
"Where are you going my mysterious friend?." Zane asked as the Falcon falls from the sky and twitches on the ground with sparking coming out
"You're a... a robot?." Zane looked confused
"Woah, robot bird, awesome." (Y/N) said surprised as Zane puts the Falcon next a tree where he sees a juggernaut
"Uhh, (Y/N)?." Zane called (Y/N) out who saw the Juggernaut as well
"What the heck is that?." (Y/N) asked as the Juggernaut saw them
"Intruder! Intruder! Prepare to be terminated!." The juggernaut fired upon them
"Gosh, can we not get attacked at first sight for once?." (Y/N) asked as he pulled his Sais out
"Ninja! Go!." Zane yelled as he makes a ramp out of snow and creates his Snow Mobile
"Hop on!." Zane yelled as (Y/N) did
Zane drives his bike up the ramp as the Juggernaut looks at them, (Y/N) threw his Sais into the turret on its back which sent the Juggernaut into a tree smoking, Zane and (Y/N) walks up to the Juggernaut and (Y/N) picks up his Sai which remains undamaged, Zane meanwhile notices the same symbol on the Juggernaut like the Falcon
"The same symbol. Where have you brought me, my Falcon friend?." Zane asked as the duo spotted a tree with that symbol
"I guess his home." (Y/N) said as Zane opened it revealing an underground bunker
"So this is your home, my mysterious friend." Zane asked as they walk down and see some blue prints for the Falcon, Zane uses those blue prints and fixes the Falcon
"You brought me here, but why?." Zane asked as a blue print fell from the desk where (Y/N) picked it up and gasped
"What is wrong (Y/N)?." Zane asked as (Y/N) only looked at Zane with worrying eyes, he hands Zane the blue prints who looks at it and his eyes widen
"No! It can't be! No! NOOOOOO!." Zane yelled as he fell onto his knees as he found out a disturbing truth

Wu walks through a village and approaches Kruncha and Nuckal
"Ah! Retreat!." Nuckal yelled as the ran off, Wu then enters the shop
"I would like to purchase some Travellers Tea." Wu asked
"Never heard of it." Mystake said as Wu gave her some coins, she then makes the Tea
"You know, those who drink this never return." Mystake warned
"Then I will not bother you again." Wu said as he left the shop

The ninja finally arrive to the tree and enter it
"Zane?." Kai called out to him as he looked down
"(Y/N)?." Jay called out as (Y/N) only looked at the blue prints
"Wow, would you look at this place? Zane what's wrong?." Jay asked
"Are you hurt?." Kai asked
"You okay?." Cole asked as Zane sighed as he looked at the blue print again
"(Y/N) what happened?." Cole asked as the duo nodded
"Z-Zane, do you...
Zane turns around and grabs his chest and opens it
"Hey what...
Everyone screams as he opens his chest to reveal a control panel
"You're a robot?!." Kai yelled surprised
"All this time. And I never knew." Zane said depressingly
"Uh, I guess this explains why you're always acting so weird. Right? Hehe." Jay said nervously
"The reason I never had a sense of humour was because my funny switch wasn't on." Zane said as he turns it on
"Hello my baby. Hello my darling. Hello my ragtime gal. Send me a kiss by wire." Zane sang as he dance as Jay laughs while Zane turns it off again
"Uh, it just makes you more special. You're still the same Zane. Just more, uh gears." Cole said
"No matter what you're made of, you're still our brother." Kai said
"We didn't know Zane, but I mean you're still Zane, the same one we fought with before and the same one we are proud to have with us." (Y/N) said
"Really?." Zane asked
"In fact, I bet it even makes you an even better ninja." Cole said
"Yeah, and how cool is it that I can honestly say, my brothers a Nindroid." Jay said much to Zane's confusion
"A Nindroid?."Zane asked
"Combination of Ninja and droid, Nindroid, which ultimately makes you even cooler then before, no pun intended." (Y/N) explained
"Now come on. Pythor is still out there looking for the first Fangblade, and we need you." Cole said
"You'll have to go in without me. I just don't feel right." Zane said sadly
"We understand Zane, we'll wait for you outside if you change your mind." (Y/N) said smiling as he left with the others
"We just have to give him time. I don't know how I would feel if I was told I was a robot." Kai said as they walked outside
"You mean a Nindroid." Jay corrected Kai who looked annoyed
"Yeah, whatever." Kai rolled his eyes
"How the heck do we get out of this place?." Cole asked as they heard a sound
"What's that?." Cole asked
"Cute tiny birds?." Jay asked
"Jay, I don't think little birds can make that sound." (Y/N) said as he slowly brought out his Sais
Cole see something move
"Did you see that?." Cole asked
"I don't see anything." Jay said as he looked around
"I just saw it too. Treehorns!." Kai yelled as the juggernaut twitched
"Intruder. Intruder." The juggernaut twitched
"Oh great, I think that thing was supposed to protect this place." Kai said as (Y/N) sheepishly chuckled
"Uh... oops?." (Y/N) said as they glared at him
"Guys, it's up to us. Ninja! G-
Kai gets kicked around
"Ugh! Ow!." Kai groaned
"There's just too many of them." Cole said as they got over powered by the Treehorns

Back inside the tree bunker, Zane looks at the blue prints
"Uh, a memory switch?." Zane looked confused as he pressed it as he got dragged into a memory of his old past
"Hello Zane." Dr Julian said as Zane came to life
Zane looks at a mirror as Dr Julian helps him walk, Zane is shown learning to cook and hugs a lamp
"You were built to protect those who cannot protect themselves." Dr Julian said as he created the Falcon, he then takes a photo of them three, it shows Dr Julian on his deathbed
"You were always the son I never had. It's time you begin your next stage in life. And the only reason I'm about to do this is because I love you." Dr Julian said smiling as he takes his glasses off before turning Zane's memory switch off, he drops his glasses as Zane regains consciousness
The flashback ends and Zane sheds a tear, the Falcon perches itself on his arm and Zane smiled
"Hey guys. Wait up!." Zane yelled as ran up only to see the Treehorns attacking his friends, Zane looks determined
"Leave my friends along! Ninja! Go!." Zane yelled as he attacked the Treehorns
"What's gotten into Zane?." Cole asked
"I don't know, but I like." Kai said
"You got this Zane!." (Y/N) yelled as Zane attacked the Treehorns
"Ninja! Go!." They cheered as the Treehorns backed away
"Are they regrouping? Who's that?." Jay asked as a bigger treehorn approached
"Their queen. You will not hurt my friends! There is nothing that will hold me back! I know who I am!." Zane yelled as he turned light blue
"What's happening to him? Was he programmed to do that?." Kai asked
"I've never seen a robot do that." Jay said
"You mean Nindroid." Cole corrected
"Yeah, whatever." Jay said as they were intrigued by Zane
"He unlocked his True Potential!." (Y/N) figured out
Zane punches the Treenhorn and kicks it before freezing it, the queen screech's as it gets frozen, Zane glared before he falls down
"What happened?." Zane asked
"That was awesome!." Jay yelled
"You should've seen yourself." Kai said
"Heh, I've never seen anything like it." Cole smiled
"Dude, you are the coolest." (Y/N) said
"Was that another pun (Y/N)?." Zane asked as they laughed Zane smiled
"This must be what Sensei meant by unlocking our hearts. I remember now. I remember everything. I remember my father and how he cared for me. I remember where I came from from. And I feel stronger for knowing." Zane said smiling
"Thats great Zane!." (Y/N) smiled at Zane who smiled back
"Next time I will help you find your parents (Y/N)." Zane smiled
"I'm so jealous. His powers are so cool." Cole said jealous
"We have our very own Nindroid." Jay said as they cheered
"Wstch out Pythor. We're coming to get you." Zane said

Meanwhile with the Serpentine, Pythor try's to find the map still
"Where are the four Fangblades?." Fangtom asked
"What if there is no map?." Acidicus asked
"I know, I know! But I don't know where to look." Pythor said
"Then I'm talking my staff back." Fangtom said
"Me too." Acidicus said
"Me three." Skalidor said as he accidentally hits Acidicus, their staffs drop and Pythor sees there anti-venom mixing together
"That's it! Pythor yelled
"What's it?." Skales asked as Pythor recollects the staffs
"The map of Fangs, it's been tight in front of us all this time. "When the five fangs untie as one, the path towards the Devourer has begun" it's not speaking of the five tribes, it's the venom in the five staffs." Pythor said putting the staffs against each other allowing them to drop there venom out, Pythor puts a piece of paper under it and the maps forms
"Behold, the locations of the four silver Fangblades!." Pythor held the map up as everyone cheered
"Soon the Great Devourer will be unleashed and Ninjago will be ours!." Pythor yelled

Wu uses the travellers tea on a campfire which makes a portal, Wu gets up and walks through it, landing in the Realm of Madness
"Hello brother. What took you so long?." Garmadon asked as he began laughing
