"Sorry that took so long," Dr. Robbins walked back into the exam room.
"It's alright," Oakley shifted on the exam table. "Busy morning."
"Tell me about it," Dr. Robbins chuckled. "If we got paid for flu tests we could build a new hospital."
He sat down in the chair and scooted over to Oakley.
"Okay, let's see," he flipped through the papers in Oakley's medical file. "Your bloodwork looks decent...cholesterol is stable...blood pressure is a little low but you've always been that way...how's the stress?"
"I don't know how to answer that," Oakley laughed.
"Right," He shut the folder. "You're pretty healthy it seems; Oakley. Any specific questions for me?"
"Actually, yes," Oakley clasped her hands together. "How's my body looking if...say Kayce and I were thinking about another baby?"
"Having a third?" Dr. Robbins leaned back.
"Fourth," Oakley corrected. "But third birth for me."
"Well, you're over thirty-five and the risks do go up for women," Dr. Robbins said. "We could do a few more tests and see if your ovaries and fallopian tubes are strong. Check for any abnormalities or such if you'd like to be sure?"
"I'd like to be sure," Oakley nodded. "We're already...trying, but I told Kayce I wanted to make sure my body could handle that."
"Alright, we can do that," He nodded. "You'll have to go to Dillon though, we don't have the lab here for it."
"Can you get me in this week?" Oakley asked.
"Probably," He chuckled. "I'll have one of the nurses help you upfront when you're done."
"Thank you," Oakley stood off the table. "I just...we'd really like to have another one if it's in the cards for us."
"Congratulations, Oakley," Dr. Robbins smiled.

Oakley pulled into one of the spots in front of Kayce's office. She had promised to swing by after her appointment. After waving at Nancy who was on the phone, Oakley made her way down to Kayce's office. She knocked twice before peaking inside.
"Hey," Kayce smiled from his desk, standing up. "Was wondering about you."
"Hi there," Oakley walked around his desk and hugged him. "Sorry, I'm a little later than I thought."
"You're cold," Kayce mumbled into her shoulder.
"It's cold outside," Oakley giggled.
"How'd it go?" Kayce asked.
Oakley pulled back and looked up at him.
"He wants to run some tests on me," Oakley said. "Says I'm pretty healthy but that I'm also older for another...pregnancy."
Oakley lowered her voice even though it was just them.
"What kind of tests?" Kayce asked.
"Ones to check on my woman parts," Oakley smirked at Kayce's grimace. "Honestly, Kacey...you grew up in a ranch."
"And I ain't ever talked about a heifer's woman parts," He rolled his eyes.
"Says the man who wanted to check mine before," Oakley laughed.
"I could still do that for you?" Kayce offered, leaning toward Oakley.
"Do you have time for a quick lunch?" Oakley asked.
