Carter beamed with pride, his chest puffing out slightly. "Thanks, Mom," he replied earnestly. "I love being a big brother to Reyna."

"And she loves having you as her big brother," Bucky added, ruffling Carter's hair.

With Reyna content in my arms and Carter happily munching on his cupcake, I couldn't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude. These simple moments, filled with love and laughter, were what made our family whole. And as we celebrated Reyna's two-week milestone together, I knew that our bond would only grow stronger with each passing day.

It was hard to believe that a month had passed since Reyna came into our lives. Her one-month birthday felt like a small milestone worth celebrating, especially in the cozy warmth of our family's love. As morning light spilled into the nursery, I watched her sleeping peacefully, a serene expression on her tiny face. Bucky was still asleep, taking advantage of a rare moment to catch up on some much-needed rest.

I gently picked up Reyna from her crib, cradling her close to my chest. She stirred slightly, a soft sigh escaping her as she nuzzled closer. "Happy one-month birthday, Reyna," I whispered, feeling a surge of love and amazement that this little being was part of our lives.

Carrying Reyna, I walked over to the window, pulling back the curtain to let in the bright morning light. "Look at that, sweetheart," I said softly, pointing out to the garden where the first signs of spring began to show. "The world's waking up just for you."

As we watched the morning together, Bucky came shuffling into the nursery, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He smiled sleepily at us, his eyes lighting up as he saw Reyna in my arms.

"Morning, beautifuls," he greeted, his voice husky with sleep. He came over and kissed me gently on the forehead, then planted a soft kiss on Reyna's head. "How are you two this morning?"

"We're just enjoying the view," I replied, smiling up at him. "Thinking about how fast this month has gone by."

Bucky nodded, wrapping one arm around me. "It really has flown by. Feels like just yesterday we were at the hospital, waiting for her to arrive."

"Yeah," I agreed, leaning into his embrace. "It's been an amazing month. Challenging, but amazing."

Bucky chuckled, his chest rumbling against my side. "That's parenthood for you. It was a beautiful challenge. But I wouldn't have it any other way."

"Neither would I," I murmured, feeling overwhelmingly grateful for the life we were building together.

"Hey, how about we do something special for breakfast? Celebrate the big one-month milestone?" Bucky suggested, his voice filled with excitement.

"That sounds like a wonderful idea," I replied, feeling the joy of the occasion start to bubble within me. "What do you have in mind?"

"How about I whip up some blueberry pancakes we love? And maybe some fresh fruit on the side?" Bucky offered, already moving towards the kitchen.

"That sounds perfect. Carter will be thrilled, you know how much he loves your pancakes," I said, following him with Reyna still snuggled against my chest.

As Bucky started on breakfast, I set Reyna down in her baby seat, making sure she was comfortable and could see us from her little perch. Soon the kitchen was filled with the scents of cooking pancakes and coffee, a comforting and familiar aroma that felt like a hug.
