Elliot

I stare at the mass in shock. This is what Ross was hiding? A person?

I inched closer, trying to be secretive, but they noticed.

The dark shadow shifted into a beautiful blonde wolf.

I stood, stunned, as the beauty ran past me and up the stairs.

After a moment, I ran after her. She was my mate. My beautiful she wolf.

The house was silent. I knew Brandon had taken care of this disgraceful pack.

I shifted into my dark brown wolf and ran after her.

I found my mate quivering on her side, winded from running so fast.

When she noticed me, she let out a sad whine and rolled on her back, showing submission.

I pushed her back on her stomach, and crawled over her, covering her body with mine.

I let out a low growl when I noticed how many wounds my mate had.

I instantly started cleaning them with my tongue, leaving a faint white line.

Mates have the power to heal each other, just with a simple touch. Sometimes the wound won't fully heal if it's bad, but it at least takes the pain away.

I shifted back, clothes and all, and held her close.

"I won't hurt you." I murmur.

She whines again.

"Can I pick you up? Do you want to come home with me?"

I watch as she sits up and turns her head, as a shrug in wolf form.

"I can see your ankle is twisted, I'm going to carry you, alright?"

My mate doesn't respond so I lift her up.

"The pack has been taken care of. Our stuff is packed up. Let's just get out of here please." Brandon says, climbing into the passenger seat.

I place my sleeping mate who is still a wolf in the back seat and climb in.
