y/n hands olivia one of her wetsuits as they stand on the side of y/n's car. "just, like, get changed here?" olivia asks. "yeah, that's what i normally do. it's hard to change in your car, and public bathrooms? no thanks," y/n says, "you can try the car if it's not comfortable, or i can cover you with a towel." olivia smiles at y/n's suggestions, "it's alright. my bikini's under there anyways." "okay," y/n says.
she looks away as olivia starts to get changed. "this is hard to get into," olivia says. "do you need help?" y/n asks, back faced to her. "yes, please," olivia says, laughing, "you don't need to look away, i'm in my bikini, y/n." y/n turns around, "sorry." "don't be sorry. thank you, though," olivia smiles.
y/n helps her into the wetsuit, zipping it up. "how's it feel?" y/n asks. "almost... like i'm naked," olivia smiles, "you sure i'm not naked?" "i wish," y/n says. olivia bursts out laughing, as does y/n.
y/n laughs as olivia falls off the board after a rather small wave. "oh my god, it's harder than it looks," olivia sighs as she emerges from the water. y/n smiles, moving the hair out of olivia's face as she holds the surfboard.

olivia and y/n sit on y/n's surfboard that was laying on the sand, looking at the ocean. "how was it?" y/n asks her. "very fun," olivia smiles, "it would be a lot more fun if i was actually good, though. i get why you surf a lot." "yeah, it is fun," y/n says. "in another life i'm a professional surfer," olivia sighs. y/n chuckles, "could be this one if you put the effort in." "true. but i'll leave that to you," olivia smiles, looking at y/n and seeing her smiling too.
a week later olivia furrows her eyebrows as she walks onto the beach, seeing y/n sitting by herself. olivia walks over to her, it taking a few minutes to get there.
y/n looks up at olivia, slightly squinting as the sunset was in her eyes. "hi," olivia smiles, "can i sit with you?" "yeah, come sit," y/n says, moving over so olivia can sit on her towel. "thank you," olivia says, sitting down with a sigh, "are you here by yourself?" "yeah," y/n says, "just taking a break from everything." "yeah," olivia says, sighing, "you okay?" "yep," y/n says, "you?" "yeah. we haven't seen each other in a while," y/n says. "yeah, i know," olivia says. y/n smiles softly as she looks at olivia, "missed your face."
