y/n and jennifer sit on the couch, and y/n glances at the empty wine glasses. "you don't need wine, do you?" she asks, jokingly. y/n shakes her head. jennifer sighs, "i talked to alicia about what happened when you came in." "what did she say?" y/n asks.

alicia had told jennifer what had happened between y/n's family. "did she say why she didn't bring me?" y/n asks her. "because she didn't think she was ready to do it on her own," jennifer says, a tone where the excuse was pretty bad. y/n scoffs, "yeah, so she leaves me with an alcoholic father and and makes her take care after him as well. i'd rather get put up for adoption, really. how'd she get so rich, anyways?" "she... um, has a boyfriend who holds a high-ranking position at gucci," she answers. "well, she's there for the money," y/n says, "so selfish." "i had no idea that she had a daughter," jennifer says, "it should've clicked in my head when i heard your last name. i'm sorry, y/n." "it's fine, you would've had no idea. i'm glad it didn't," y/n says. they get into a deep talk about how upset and angry y/n was that her mom didn't even keep y/n stable, financially wise, y/n venting to jennifer about everything. jennifer tells y/n she's gonna distance herself from alicia as she didn't want to be surrounded by people like that. y/n was just a little shocked she didn't start crying on the spot, the closest being a tear up. but maybe all her tears left in the shower.

olivia looks up as y/n walks into the bedroom. "how'd it go?" she asks, tiredly. "yeah, good," y/n says. "you sure?" olivia asks as y/n lays beside her. "yeah, it was good," y/n says, "just... glad i could talk about it with your mom. she's a practical woman." olivia giggles as she places her head on y/n's chest. "yeah, she's the best to go to for advice," olivia says. "noted," y/n gently pulls olivia on top of her. "am i too heavy?" olivia asks. "nonsense," y/n says, wrapping her arms around olivia.

"feeling better, though?" olivia whispers. "a little, honestly," y/n says, "i just wanna sleep." "sorry," olivia apologizes. "no, it's alright," y/n says, "i didn't mean it as a hint." olivia lets out a giggle, "it's okay."

olivia holds y/n's hand as they skate on the lake. "olivia," y/n says. "yes?" olivia asks. "i want to tell you something," y/n says. "you can tell me," olivia says. they stop skating, and y/n takes olivia's other hand, making her slide in front of her. olivia smiles at y/n, "what's up?"

"i don't really know if it's any use to tell you now, though," y/n says. "you can tell me if you want," olivia says. y/n sighs, looking around before looking at olivia, "remember the day we met?" olivia smiles, nodding, "of course i do." "i... i was having a really, really tough time then," y/n says, "a lot more now." olivia nods, keeping her eyes on y/n. "and the day before i met you, i decided that the next day would be my last day."

olivia furrows her eyebrows, keeping quiet. "i didn't understand why you were so invested in me, but you really did save my life. if you didn't ask to see me the next day, i wouldn't have been there any other day," y/n says. olivia sighs, "wow." "i know, it's a lot," y/n says. "obviously i'm so glad you're here, but why'd you choose to come back the next day?" olivia asks. "because i just felt wanted for the first time in a long time... and i thought about you all night when i walked home," y/n says, "and when i got home. i just couldn't disappoint you. it probably didn't seem like that on the day, but i was really excited to see you, actually... and not to mention that you were really gorgeous." "aw, y/n," olivia laughs, "i'm really glad that someone was there to stop you, let alone me. i'm so glad i asked you. i never ask random people to hang out the night day, but i thought you were really gorgeous, too. i just got pulled to you."

y/n smiles softly, "i owe you my life. literally." "you don't owe me anything," olivia shakes her head, "you already repaid me by being here." y/n swallows, "i know i shouldn't right now... but i just really wanna kiss you again."
