Valerie’s POV
“Zach you didn’t have to do this” I laugh as Zach keeps his hands over my eyes
“Oh c’mon people say I never take you out so this is me taking you out”
I already had an idea as to where he had taken me; the sea, I could smell the water. So as his hands feel from my eyes and I looked at the huge boat next to us I smiled.
“The Queen Mary?” I ask
“Don’t tell me you’ve been here before!”
“Ha-ha I haven’t!”
“Phew, that’s good.”
Zach grabs my hand in his and we make our way up a ramp to reach the large boats entrance.
“Hello Welcome to the Queen Mary” a man says opening the doors for us.
This place was so neat, walking in to the large red room you saw two grand staircases spiraling up over the front desk, not to mention the huge piano being played a few steps away.
“Hi, Welcome to the Queen Mary” we hear again “Reservation?” an older man asked us
“Yes, under Porter”
“Zachary?”
“Yes”
“Okay, your table is ready and the fireworks start in about ten minutes just a few steps from the dining hall. Would you like your room key now or later?”
“Now is fine” he says letting go of my hand to reach into his pocket
“And we’ll need-“
“Here” Zach says handing the man his credit card
“Thank you”
Few seconds later he’s given the room key and our hands find each other.
“Enjoy your stay and Happy Valentine’s Day” we hear as we walk off
“This is a hotel?” I finally get to ask
“One of the many things” he smiles
“This is thoughtful and everything but we didn’t even bring clothes to spend the night…”
“Who says we’re spending the night?” he winks
“Cochino”
“Me?” he laughs pointing at himself
I don’t say anything and just laugh as we enter the huge room filled with people; couples, eating dinner for tonight’s festivities. Again Zach mentioned his name and we got sat a table right by the window looking out at the dark sea.
“Here you go, and my name is Trevor be right back to take your order” the waiter says giving us some time to look over the menu
“What are you gonna get?” I ask
“Umm don’t know, you?”
“Burger, I’ll keep it safe”
“Ha same here”
I look up from the menu to meet Zachs eyes who were already looking at me.
“Did I already tell you, you look beautiful tonight?”
“Yes, three times actually” I blushed
“Then I’ll say it again” he smiles “You look so beautiful babe”
I look down embarrassed.
“You know what’s beautiful? The fireworks outside” I point out the window
