Dan and Phil watched me as I packed my huge suitcase. Over 30% of my suitcase was taken up by the NES and it's games, the rest was mainly clothes and a few other objects. "Ready to go?" Dan asked. I looked around the room for possibly the last time and nodded, "Yeah.."

We rode the tube to their flat. I had no idea what to expect, the other two foster families I got thrown out of only had straight parents. I never really had my own phone, but I had an ipod to listen to music on. I put in my earbuds and selected "Northern Downpour" by Panic! At The Disco. My mother sang it to me often, it's what calms me down. Phil grabbed my hand and led me out of the crowded tube. "We're almost home." He smiled brightly. Dan offered to carry my suitcase, I gladly took up the offer.
I didn't really know any other home as well as the adoption center, was it odd that I missed it? I never did with other families. Finally, they opened a door and led me up some stairs. Both guys were smiling, a lot. Phil took me to the lounge, "You're gonna love it here, me and Dan share a room so you get to have my old room, there are new sheets and everything!" He said excitedly.
I couldn't help but smile, "Thanks but I have to ask, why'd you even choose me?" I asked, sitting on the couch. Dan smiled, "You were the most interesting and the least enthusiastic." He laughed. I smirked, "Reasonable, but, um..can I go to bed? I'm kind of tired and I have a lot of unpacking to do.". Phil nodded, "Of course, we'll go shopping for you tomorrow. Dan, take Piper to her room please."

The next morning I woke up fairly early. I got up and walked to the lounge. Phil was eating cereal and Dan was scrolling through tumblr. "Death Note" played on the TV, I had seen the whole series. "I'm still not over L's death." I yawned. Dan jumped, "I see you're up." He said, closing his laptop. Phil shoveled more wheaties into his mouth. "Daniel, go get her present." He said inbetween mouthfuls.
Dan looked a bit pissed by the use of his actual name but he got up and walked towards him and Phil's bedroom. "Do you want breakfast? We'll be heading out in about two hours." Phil asked. I nodded, "Sure."
Dan came back into the lounge and handed me a large cardboard box. I slowly opened it, then was shocked. Unintentionally of course, a couple tears came from my eyes. Sure, a Macbook Air was nothing to cry about but when you live in an adoption center for eight years, you learn to value what's given to you. "Thank you so much, you didn't have to." I said, wiping a couple of the tears. Phil laughed, "If you're going to live in a house with two youtubers, you should at least have your own laptop."
"Now, let's get some food in you so you can shower and we can go shopping."
