I was woken up by my alarm clock the next morning. This time I was happy getting up. I had a half day at school and most importantly I didn't have MATH! I woke up Ty first and then Charlotte and we got ready. Once we were ready I made everyone scrambled eggs and then we left all at the same time for once.
The only lessons I had was music and drama. My two favourite subjects so nothing could go wrong and before lunch I would be out of the hell hole.
When we got to school we went straight to our lessons because we were five minutes late. My music teacher was alright with me so I didn't bother rushing to my lesson. I got there in less the three minutes and she told me to hurry up and take my seat. The only seat was next to Jessica and she welcomed me with a warm smile. I smiled back and took a seat. Miss June then told us that we were starting our last project before we left and our task was to write a song and compose a sound track to it.
I started with the lyrics. After about thirty minutes I came up with;
'Say goodbye,
and let faith just pass you by,
Destiny will soon confine, what we have and what we had'.
It had taken so long just to write that small chorus and I couldn't be asked to do anything else so I just wondered around the classroom seeing what other people had. Soon enough the lesson ended and luckily for me my drama class was just next door so I went straight there.
I was waiting outside when Erica came to me. The teacher wasn't there yet and people where still coming from there last lesson so it was just me and her. We didn't really talk so it was kind of awkward. She was wearing grey jeans with a white obey jumper and a red beanie hat. She was half Brazilian half Scottish but she had a sexy Brazilian accent. If she wasn't such a bitch we would have got along fine. We were just standing there until she broke the silence by saying that she was at the party on Sunday. I didn't intend on being rude but why was she telling me. I told her that I wasn't interested but she carried on talking. She told me she heard that Daniel banged Rio and I said wow really sarcastically in my Colombian accent.
I walked away from her to meet Charlotte and Ty who I spotted walking up the stairs. I could see they were arguing about something but as I got closer they shut up. I didn't know what they were talking about but I had I feeling that it had something to do with me.
The lesson started shortly after that and time went flying by.
Finally it was the end of the day. Ty and Charlotte where talking to the teacher so I told them to meet me outside and left. I just wanted to go home and cry in bed, I had put on such a brave face but I was still dying inside. As I stepped out of school I ran right into Jaden. Now why was he here? After what happened yesterday morning his best friend turns up outside my school. Great. That was just what I needed.
"Urm, hi Tori," he said awkwardly.
Even though everything inside me was telling me to walk away, I stayed to see what he had to say.
"What went down yesterday cause Daniel left real early and said he needed to talk to you and then my man bare stomped into yard on some any next rage mode and has locked himself in his room since banging out Drake. If you get, I care bout my man so I came to see what's gwarning," he said.
"We broke up," I told him and he was speechless.
It was then I was saved by Ty who came over to me and put his hand securely around my waist. He nodded a hello to Jay and Jay nodded back. There was an awkward silence and me and Ty left. The bus was there so we ran. We were laughing so much, it was the most fun I had had all day. We sat on the bus next to each other, my head on his chest and his arm around me. An old woman got on the bus and smiled at us...okay...
When we jumped off the bus and got to the apartment door we realized we had left Charlotte again. I guess she was going to get home on her own. So I pinged her telling her me and Ty were already at home and that we were so sorry for leaving her. Well I was but all Ty could do was laugh. When she got home she was going to be pissed but...there was nothing I could have done. So I went to my room to change into my blue adidas tracksuit.
