Since Nya and Sora's matches, I decided it was time to bring back the sunrise exercises. We needed to be prepared for whatever Ras threw at us.
Wearing the new attire my sister made for me, I walked into the sleeping quarters, "Let's go, everyone."
Cole was one of the few who woke up first, along with my sister. "You go. I'll wake up the kids," Cole smiled at her before taking care of the children.
My elder sister sent him a thankful smile before walking outside with Zane. I turned to Wyldfyre, "You too, Wyldfyre. Time for warm-ups."
She seemed out of touch by not having her Elemental Powers anymore, "I lost my heat power. I've literally got nothing to warm up with!" The girl complained, huddling with Riyu.
But I was urging her to join us, "There's more to being a ninja than Elemental Powers."
Wyldfyre sighed, "Yeah, like sleeping in. Don't ninja sleep in?"
"Come on you two," Cole was seen helping his children get ready for the morning before he joined the others.
I understood why she wouldn't want to join but she needed to learn the basics, "You need to focus on learning Spinjitzu."
I heard some grumbling, but the former Elemental Master of Heat still complied with my words. Emma ran up to me, "Hey, Uncle Lloyd! I got you something!" She beamed.
I smiled, crouching down to her level, "You did? What is it?"
She showed a small charm she made out of some beads, there was a small dragon chain at the end of it, "It's for good luck to your future matches...!" Emma explained shyly as I inspected the said charm, "I want you to win."
Her gift had already given me newfound strength, "Thanks, Ems. That is very nice of you," I hugged her gently before hooking the charm to my sword to keep it close to me.
Seeing her charm suit my weapon made her smile, "No problem! I'll see you at the arena!"
"See you, Emma!" I waved goodbye to her before she went to rejoin her father and brother.
I spotted Nya packing her stuff, she said before she'd go and find Jay herself, "I know you'll find Jay, Nya."
She held a determined face, "I have to. Even if he doesn't remember anything about us, Jay belongs with us. His family," I could tell she was hesitant, "But I'm scared, Lloyd..."
I sat near her, "He shattered his goodness. What if he can't heal it?"
"There has to be a way," I stayed positive for my friend, "And we'll all join you as soon as the tournament ends and we find whoever's behind the attacks on the dragons."
My words brought back a smile on the Water Ninja's lips, "Be careful," she advised me as we hugged it out., "You too. We'll miss you." I smiled back.
