I ran as fast as I could to the training grounds.

I punched kicked and cut down every single tree in my way.

I panted, and did another round.

After 20 minutes, the forest had lost at least 30 trees.

Well, I should go, no need to destroy everything.

I sighed and trudged up to where our group was supposed to meet.

I stopped.

If Kakashi sensai was always late why couldn't I be for once?

My inner selves arguing, I went to the giant slab of rock that was known as the K.I.A. stone.

I peeked from behind a tree to make sure no-one was there.

No-one was.

I looked to the list and saw a name had been added.

I had already visited the stone yesterday to talk to Samantha and tell her the details of my day at night.

It made me feel closer to her.

Like she was still here.

I squinted through the early rays of the sun to read the name.

I gasped.

It was Dad's name.

I felt the tears well up  in my eyes.

I shook my head furiously back and forth.

"No, no, no Sakura!" I scolded myself.

"You are a ninja, and even though you are a Genin you must follow all the ways of a true shinobi. Especially, not showing your true emotions." I stated aloud.

"You do realize that also means you should follow the ninja way of being punctual?" A voice teased.

I whipped my head around and yelled," Leave me alo- Oh. Hi Kakashi Sensai." I mumbled.

He stepped down from the tree he was in.

"Hello Sakura. And to let you know, you're not alone. We have all lost someone before and everyone has at least experienced the death of a loved one." He said simply.

"I understand completely. Sorry for being late, I thought I needed to drill the one rule first before focusing on others." I replied sheepishly.

My voice sounded weird.

It was just dead.

"I see." He noted.

"Well better get a move on before Sasuke and Naruto kill each other." I looked up shocked.

"Sensai, please try not to use those words in front of me. My Father passed not a while ago."I joked.

The joke didn't reach my eyes I'm guessing since Sensai just sighed.

"Look Sakura, maybe you should ju-"

I cut him off.

"No I'm fine nothing a little training can't fix." I smiled.

I felt like the smile was empty.

Like it was just a former shell of my old self.

How I used to be.

"Alright." He agreed.

From there, we set off to the training grounds.

Man, if I just had stayed there maybe I wouldn't have to fake the whole being okay thing.

Jeez, being a ninja can suck.
