I woke up to see it was still raining.

Someone was shaking my shoulder. I could make out some words.

"Sakura! Are you  okay?" A voice cried out.

I felt many people's chakra around me.

I opened my eyes and saw most of my comrades surrounding me.

"Sakura what were you doing all the way in the middle of the forest?" Naruto asked.

I almost broke down in tears.

Almost.

I looked to find that my Mother was gone.

She must've used a Jutsu before so that on the day she passes no-one would have to care for her.

'She was so self-less.' I thought to myself.

I got up from my sitting position so abruptly the world started spinning.

I almost hit my head on the rocks nearby when someone unexpectedly caught me.

Sasuke.

Our faces were inches apart.

I heard Kakashi clear his throat.

If the situation wasn't so serious I would've blushed but not now.

My face held no emotion.

He awkwardly set me back on my feet.

"You okay?" He murmured.

"Just fine." I whispered.

Kakashi gave me a curious look.

I sighed.

"My mom just died today." I stated quietly.

Everyone looked shocked.

Even Emo-boy looked surprised.

"If you don't mind Sakura, how did it happen?" Kakashi questioned.

I looked down at the ground for a moment and looked into everone's expectant eyes.

"Orochimaru." I said with no emotion.

I saw Kakashi look up to see a hawk, meaning the Hokage wants to see him.

Kakashi was going to speak but I cut him off.

"Kakashi I don't feel like having my mind be intruded for information by the ANBU at the moment so can you tell the Hokage to leave me alone for a while?" I asked sweetly.

"Sure thing." He replied, taken aback that I even had the strength to speak.

I turned to my teammates.

"I'm going ho-." I stopped.

I don't think I want to go back there but maybe I should. A ninja does not grieve for long.

"I'm going to head back to my house." I finished.

I walked 20 feet away when I heard a voice.

"Sakura are you sure you want to? You can stay at my place if you want. I'll be training with Pervy Sage so I won't be a bother." Naruto called.

I turned around, my green eyes brimming with tears mixed with rain.

He actually would let me do that?

Let me stay at his place?

"That'd be nice." I answered quietly.

I walked to Naruto's house and opened the door that was unlocked.

I lay down on his couch and started to listen to the rain outside.

I was still soaking wet but I don't think he'd mind.

I pulled the thick blanket around be and lay on my side, oblivious to the chils I felt from the slightly open window.

I actually felt warm. And cozy too,

I heard Naruto's neighbor next door playing some soft piano music.

With the soft piano music mixed with the whispering voices of the rain, it didn't take long for me to start feeling sleepy.

I snuggled into the pillow that was already on the couch and felt my eyes drooping.

The rain and piano sounds blending together, I fell asleep soundly.
